Great review! How does this boonie handle wind? In a stiff breeze, the brims on my boonie -- an inexpensive Propper -- flop up and away from face. Looking for something with wind resistance on the beach or atop a mountain.

Nice review. I have the Seahawk and a matching face gaitor that I store in the pocket on top of the hat. Those two combos allow me to grab and go and use it for kayaking and not require sunscreen.

Nice review on the hat. Maybe you can put a ice/hot pack in the pouch .to keep your head warm or cool

The pocket in the top is of the hat is for the lanyard when you don’t need or want it!!!! I have a titeliest golf hat that has the same feature - took me a while to figure out what it’s for.

See now you got think8ng about rhe size with that plastic piece. I wear a size 7 in a Tilley hat but should I bump that up for this??

$79.00 for a Boonie hat? Uh, no. Buy a $15 Boonie hat from Walmart and slide a straightened paperclip into the bill seam and spray it with water (shoe) repellent. Same purpose, same results and not supporting price gouging companies. And spend the $60 difference on your wife or kids.
