When on safari in Namibia and Botswana we were looking for the perfect overlanding vehicle to get us through some tough terrain like the very remote Central Kalahari National Park. In the end we decided to hire a Toyota Landcruiser 79 from Avis Safari Rental (@AvisSouthAfrica), and it didn't let us down.
Our favorite part of the safari truck was the Alu Cab roof top tent (we even bought one for ourselves after the trip!), but the truck comes equipped with a full camp kitchen, a fridge, solar, a second battery, upgraded suspension, a bull bar, a second spare tire and everything else you might need for for adventures in the African Bush. After almost a month in the truck, here's our in depth review looking at all the things we loved about it.
