Check that grip module for the Tungsten insert…you might be able to drop a couple more ounces👍🏼 The grip module you settled on at the end of the video weighs 7.6 oz WITH the Tungsten insert and the TXG (Legion) grip module weighs exactly 9 oz more. If you want to settle somewhere in the middle - the Icarus Precision SOCOM full length grip module weighs 9.0 oz.
Yeah reading directions is an issue for men 😂😂 most of us think we know it all when it comes to guns,so I’ve bitten my pride and learned to read directions throughly from now on,learned the hard way I might add 😂😂
I have the same build but with the 3.9 carry so a 4.7 threaded zev barrel and a single port herrington arms comp. Very sweet build, also bought a gas pedal, i may try the dpm system see if it soften its up some more.
Good god, if you don't like the P320 why did you pick one up? Makes no sense. Kind of a dope getting hung up on the guide rod. It happened to me with my P320 and it took me about minute to figure it out.
I just did a similar build, but added the Competition Spring Kit for the FCU/Trigger from the Glock store ($30) ... It makes the trigger even more amazing!
Armory Craft makes a +10% trigger return spring to help reset. Also look at the Apex trigger bar. Absolutely the best striker fired trigger with those and the Legion trigger.
I just finished the exact same build today. Had constant malfunctions for about 200 rounds and then like magic it started running like butter. It initially didn’t like 115grain but now it will run anything. Just prepare to be frustrated for about 200ish rounds if you do the same build.
Damn. I had the same issues. Ran about 200 too. 115, 124, and 147 ball and even 124 carry ammo. The most i ever got out of it was 5 rounds without a stovepipe or failure to eject. I ended up taking it off for the time being but put it back on yesterday and will try it again when i go back next week.
Hey, which DPM Spring did you end up leaving and using? I got this build and im having constant malfunctions. Should I use the lightest and shortest spring from DPM?
Never seen someone shoot with their shirt off, except maybe in a movie, but hey do your own thing. Liked the video and the dog otherwise - is he/she a Rottweiler? Might consider getting the suppressor height sights on the slide so you can cowitness with the red dot.
His ears fold over like a built in ear pro lol. I mean he loves it , if he sees me carrying a gun bag out of the house and I dont take him he gets really upset.
What DPM spring did you end up using and leaving? How many rounds did it take to break in? I shot with the OEM about 150 rounds and each of them had a malfunction
Did you use Red or Blue Loctite on your PMM Comp and Barrel? Mine came with Red, but if I ever want to take it off how can I do that if I use Red? Would Blue work just as good? Thanks! 👍
@@pessimisticpuma - cool, I just went with Red because it came with the comp/barrel setup. I can clean things up fairly easy due to the Pro Cut Slide. Thanks 👍
I just got a xcarry spectre brand new, having the same FTE issues you had, only shot 10 rounds because I was so frustrated and didnt have any better loads (i used one HST carry round from my glock) still had issues with that one round though. Hoping to do some more soon and get a good break in visit to the range again soon though..
