4 years after this comment was posted and the fun has not yet returned. In 2013 I thought I'd like to go to a gdq event, now I don't think I'll ever go to a gdq event. Ever since Bonesaw577 got banned from gdq events everything has gone downhill. If I want to donate to a good cause I'd donate directly because of how they treated Bonesaw (he's the blond guy on the couch rocking the mohawk.) All I can say about the ban is "Wow" -Owen Wilson
@@Jawzun During a run in either 2014 or 15, two things happened. Bonesaw swore a couple times during his run. GDQ wants family friendly content even though 99.9% of it's audience is above the age of 18. Next, he made too many Owen Wilson jokes. He made like 3 jokes after the GDQ moderators told him to stop. The whole crowd watching in person was laughing, having fun, and having a good time over all, but GDQ didn't like it.
This just makes me so happy. I only just got into watching GDQs but the camaraderie between all of the viewers and the generosity of all the donors is really special to me. Makes me feel good lol
I miss when a GDQ had this sort of stuff. It's this thing that GDQs post 2015 lack...it's called fun. Now in 2018 not only is chat sub only but you get banned for every little thing. It's really sad to see AGDQ and SGDQ go from one of the things I looked forward to most, to "Hey I guess I'll watch a couple of VODs later"
