The only problem I really had all these fifas was that my pc couldn’t run on directx 12. So for the past 3 fifas I have always changed directx 12 to 11 in the fifa setup file. But in fifa 23 there’s no option to change the directx12 to 11, idk if it has to do with faster technology for the next gen gameplay that’s now supported by pc. But my pc is having a very bad time playing the game. The game just stutters and the cutscenes are like 5fps. So I hope they can do something about it or maybe I’ll just have to accept that I cannot run this fifa

@@John418 yeah its pretty unfortunate. But I read somewhere that a lot of people are having this issue, even the high end pc users. I’ll be honest my pc isn’t that good. I have a i7 2600 and a GTX 1050 overclocked a little bit. And 16GB of ram. Personally I think its next gen, that’s really capping our frames

Yeah it runs somewhat ok for me gameplay i think is 30 FPS but the cutscenes like goals etc are like 5 fps stuttering like hell lol and i had the game on the lowrst possible settings probably a optimization issue especially if high end pc players are having it too CPU:I7-4770K GPU: RX550 STORAGE: 2TB SAMSUNG SSD RAM:24GB DDR3 fastest speed for it forgot what it was 1600 mhz i think

Guys i need help. I play this fifa on 4k/60fps but on a TV. I get crazy screen tearing. I don’t want to put VSYNC on because it adds input delay. Is there an alternative to have a smooth 60fps game without vsync and screen tearing? If I put the “lock to 60fps” option on it add input delay also

This might be long but please read..One quick advice for my fellow low end pc users what ever game you try to play don't ever use the highest resolution the gane gives you always go for 1280×720p cos it will give you a smoother gameplay at the cost of a reduction in graphic visual as for fifa 23 use the 1280×720 resolution and put it to windowed mode and lock your fps to 60 and you're good for me I now run the game at 49-55fps

i have a problem on my laptop. every time i start fifa my laptop switches from charging mode to battery mode every second and that gives me a lot of lags. when i close fifa again my laptop doesnt switch from charging mode to battery mode, it just stays at the charging mode how it should be. what is the cause for this and how can i fix it?

Encountered same issue for awhile and discovered my laptop charger is low on power juice, replaced charger with a newer one, the power supply became balanced and ran on performance mode efficiently.. you can also consider looking at ur battery health to ascertain if it is well above average.. hope this helps.

have the same. Fifa 23 is poorly optimized like its insane. I have a good pc and my PC sounds like a jet. In the fk menu the CPU and GPU usage is way higher than in a match lmao. I hope they do something about this soon. Warzone runs even better while that game is 100x as heavy as fifa.

Its been an issue for a long time. The menus are locked at 30 fps. You can look on youtube for a tutorial on how to unlock it (with nvidia control panel)

@Tuncay Øcalan Turn on V-sync. If turning it on in game doesn't work, do it through the GPU driver. But menus are slow on every console for some reason so it might not solve your problem, but you can try.

I am getting an issue with Latency and Jitter. Online games will freeze and the game will continue in the background. 10 second rubberbands sometimes. Anyone else seeing this issue as well. Im running it on Origin.

Enabled Vsync from amd's software by manually adding the game and it fixed the issue for me By Vsync I mean "Wait for vertical refresh" to Always On

Confused about locking to 60 FPS because I have a 120hz Freesync monitor with an AMD GPU but when I lock to 60 fps in the game menu, my FPS counter in game stays at 120 fps, not 60 fps. When I set it to "No limit on FPS" then FPS counter is around 200 even though my monitor only displays 120hz. So, I don't get the 60 FPS setting in the game menu because I never see it that low on the FPS counter. If anything, that setting locks me at 120 FPS on the counter, which is ideal for my monitor. What I think is going is that EA mislabeled the menu settings. The 60 FPS is simply a V-Sync to the monitor's refresh rate. It really has nothing to do with 60 FPS.

Yeah the missing of a v-sync option in fifa 23 is really sucks. You just can't lock fps to 60 if you have a monitor that shows more than 75 Hz.

the menu is mislabeled if u set to 30fps it will lock to half ur refresh rate while lock 60fps will lock at ur refresh rate so if u have 120hz monitor and lock at 30fps it would actually lock at 60fps
