This is one of two pedals that I bought this year. The other is an MXR Micro Flanger. They are together on a small board, along with the Cloudburst's expression pedal. I am satisfied.
Thank you so much the best demonstration yet with the cloud burst. You just done that the way it was designed to do. I appreciate your touch. I have one I love it still learning from it so much so much variety..
i have it and enjoy it but it's absolutely not the best pedal of 2023. maybe you could argue it's the best reverb pedal but it's too basic to be considered top pedal of the year imho.
Lovely sounds, but the price is a bit too salty. I am willing to bet a whole English pound that you could achieve/replicate a similar, if not a exact sound scape with a combination of pedals already in someone's existing arsenal. I saw someone else's post where they said it was reassuringly expensive, which I kinda find more than a little obtuse.
I went mono through my interface, then my reverb plugin converted the mono signal out to a stereo signal, so different reverb artefacts move around in their own way making it a genuine stereo effect rather than just a dual mono.
Nice, will have to give that a go with Ableton. Have you tried connecting up via USB to the computer? Strymon doesn't say much about this, but it's an easy way to store, name and recall presets via program changes. Not sure whether the device's effect can be heard on the DAW via USB or not.
@@tonehome1 haven't tried it just yet, usually I use my interface for my microphones and plug in my Stomp via usb. Would be interested to see what the result is like going from the HX stomp into the cloudburst then out via usb, to see if there's any tone degradation.
@@jameshoodmusic6414 Right..I'm gonna need someone to show me how to use the devices effects in my DAW via USB. However until the NIXIE thing is fixed, storing and recalling presets via promo changes sent via USB works well. Stry. don't tell how to set that up, but I stumbled on it.
