Thank you for leaving out 'the ones you had nothing really good to say about' . This is why I respect your reviews so much - because you're about finding and promoting helpful and reliable material that will help others that are really wanting to study and you're not about focusing on negative and unhelpful materials - which many channels seem to do. Thanks for your honestly and respect to authors and audience.
Thanks pastor for this video and not editing out the difficult parts. I can see your passionate about academic excellence but still hate to question the integrity of a great commentator like O’Brian. Id love to get my hands on some copies as it would only be fore ministry not academics.
I understand. I had to pay over £100 each to complete my collection and I don't see them any cheaper. It is now so long since they were withdrawn that I can't see it getting any better. Just keep looking in every second hand shop that you can, but don't totally give up on the net
Hi Stephen, another good video. Thanks for all the effort you put into these. Though my book buying list gets longer with each video. I'm currently enjoying Bridging the Testaments and some of David Petts books. By the way, I noticed the NICNT timestamp in this video needs tweaking. Thanks again for blessing us all.
Hello Pastor, Kindly let me know your view on Mark J Keown - Philippians whether it is accessible and easy to read for the lay person and also how does it compare with the top volume you have suggested about from the NICNT. Thanks
Thanks for this question. The truth is that I don't have a copy and have only got a couple in that series. What I have read of the others in the series (I think all I have are Jude and The epistles of John) have impressed me. I haven't read anything else by him either. All I can say is that the series seems OK, but I haven't come across the author. I will put him on my "to find and read" list. God bless you!
