as a next gen ranger raptor owner myself, it's amazing how comfortable it is. The level of confidence I have whenever I drive one is just too high. Those fox shocks really is a game changer, even the ugliest road road in Metro Manila is a non issue.
The foundation of a good pickup is RELIABILITY. Doesn’t matter how technologically advanced or how powerful it is, if it’s not dependable it’s worthless. And yes you guessed it, Rangers are notoriously unreliable. Hilux is the pick for pickups.
@@daverae7586 that's because for a long time they have no competition and they got very cocky and decided to not face-lift it's Hilux. Now that the ranger is beating the Hilux Toyota has to step up.
Best in Repair Category, the most Popular in Repair Shops in the Philippines, pumunta kayo sa mga Auto repair shop sa Pilipinas ang dami ninyong makikitang Ford Ranger , pumunta kayo sa mga 2nd Hand Auto Dealership, ang daming Ford Ranger na ibinebenta, But the fact cannot be change that Toyota Hilux is the No.1 selling pick up truck in Asia in 2023 followed by Isuzu Dmax,Sa Porma theres no question that Ford Ranger looks really good , but why Pick up buyers still pick the Toyota Hilux ? Why in Agricultural and Construction sector pick Isuzu Dmax ? Because they want Reliability which the Ford Ranger dont have.
May 5 yrs warranty naman and so far so good. By then may newer more interesting models na u can change to if ever. I don't subscribe to the idea of sacrificing everything for perceived brand reliability with only 3 yrs warranty. I'd like to get a Toyota if they weren't too slow to innovate.
Baka naman mga nakikita mo sa shop eh nagpapa-PMS lang kasi mahal sa casa? Sa Dunamis puro ford units nakabalandra don, ford specialist kasi sila, mas mura pms etc kesa casa
My take on why the 2023 Raptor outguns the current line-up: Full time 4x4 (center diff) by default, Sport drive mode for a faster response, Fox suspensions, paddle shifters, very smooth and responsive 10 speed auto (yep they fixed it), locking rear diff if u need it, and they didn't skimp on the AT tires.
Bought the Mazda BT50 4x4 2023 Pangolin this month.. Sobrang SULIT!!! 👍👍 Pangolin comes with free accessories and aftermarket rims.. 1.858M pero after cash discount nakuha ko 1.670M. 4x4 top of the line features with elegant interior and exterior. Plus....... 5 year FREE PMS..👍👍 And btw... Isuzu engine nga pala ang bt50. And may rear diff lock na wala sa totl dmax lse.
It’s an Isuzu with a Mazda face. “An Isuzu executive told Australian media CarsGuide that Mazda had no involvement in the development of the D-Max, and that Mazda will be handed a finished pick-up truck instead. As the result, the TF BT-50 is built at Isuzu Motors plant in Thailand”-wiki. I kinda like how it looks and wow that’s a good discount, but heard ride is bouncy and only has 3yrs warranty?
@@UnwiredRA yes sir... i like the looks of the bt50 lalo na after ko mapalitan ng all terrain tires..and gusto ko na sa mga parking lot halos wala ka katulad..haha.. almost 2mos din ako visit sa mga dealer halos all brands binisita ko.. mazda yun pinakasulit deal for me in my opinion... regarding the bouncy ride.. for me okay naman.. cant complain since pickup truck ..May 2 suv din kami and yun ride comfort halos di naman nalalayo... yup 3 yrs warranty lang.
i always say na if you want a dmax 4x4 just get the bt50. It's a better version because of the diff lock. and also the 5 year free PMS is also a huge factor
Reliability? Dmax all day any day+ unlimited engine mileage warranty (xterrain) giving you peace of mind, good value for the money. In my country dmax get wireless charger and 360 cam too.
Sana magawan ng paraan kung pano masasama yung reliability sa mga category.. kasi definitely Ford is somewhere at the bottom pag dating sa category na yun.
that's the brand... how do you even measure the reliability of the next gen ranger raptor kung wala pang 1 year old yung model?. Also, hard to measure reliability because each unit is different. One unit can last for decades and a few may have issues in its first year. Maybe after 10 years, pwedeng mag comparo ulit with these batch pero who would even do that
Only real way is for the reviewer to buy all these pickups with his own money and stress/torture them to destruction. Other than that, there is no way you can get these car brands to agree to let u destroy their loaners for review.
Couple of months ago, I was looking for a mid-sized pickup truck for my business. I watched every video you had about the Ford Ranger. I was amazed on how it set a new benchmark for pickup trucks. The tech, the new suspension layout, it drives like a dream. More power to you, jaywalkur!
I haven't seen the video yet but I just read the title, and I guess who the winner is. This month, I will have my Ranger Raptor. And I hope to have the 2024 F150 Raptor too this summer. Watching you from Madagascar 🇲🇬
If you say Ford Ranger Raptor in some categories, does that include the Ford Ranger Wildtrak? Cause both are basically the same. Except refinement because the Raptor has Fox Suspension around.
Every pickup wants to be compared to the Raptor. If you review any other pickup brands, to advertise the Raptor by comparing it. That's how everything goes since the release of the Ranger Raptor.
l am new to this channel and l have seen them all. This is seems to be the more detailed and the accent of the narrator is very neutral everyone can understand it. Great Job!
Before, I was head over heels with ford raptor, but after knowing the issue of the truck, I just moved on with Nissan Nevara, atleast the torque stays longer overtime, *cough cough* .
can you enlighten me anung major issues ng current gen ranger raptor? kasi kahit sa page ng members wala naman ako nakikita. The worst na nakita ko is battery drained after a year lang because of ford pass pero that's battery lang
@@georgevwalking you can check on various owner forums... Hose prone to cracking, laggy low gears, thin paint, previous gen frame snapped due to rust. It also requires more frequent maintenance (2x a year vs 1x). But hey im sure even Toyota's are not spared.
Sure, anything costs more you're going to sell less, however I always thought they are good value, with the taxes it would only put them at where they belong, still think they would sell plenty.
