Thanks for this, very helpful. Quick question, my 9u pitcher does the fastball grip almost properly, he likes to put his thumb kind of to the corner of the and not directly underneath, when he does put directly underneath, the ball slips out a lot when pitches or even throws. What would you suggest we do?

Do you recommend this for a beginner baseball player ive never been on a team for baseball but i wanna learn to throw pitches and also im 16

Yes. Start with the three finger grip at first. Once that feels comfortable after you throw a little bit switch to the two finger grip, Fourseam fastball make sure to keep your thumb underneath the ball when using three finger grip and two finger grip that will help balance it out.
