The thing is, though, that no cruise ship's ever going to dock there until it gets a lot more of a tourism industry. 3 thousand people on the (by far) largest island in the country! So, not a lot of urban activity, KWIM? But, it's actually the cultural center of the whole country. Home to the Androssian batik factory, as well as the Red Bay settlement where every one of those uniquely Bahamian incredibly beautiful and strong baskets are made by hand, by Bahamians in their kitchens. Then there's the Captain Morgan pirate lore, and the third largest reef in the world, and the stunning beauty of Joulter Cays. Oh, and when you were talking about Grand Bahama you should have mentioned Gold Rock beach, where a lot of Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed.

Don’t buy the daiquiris at the Beach club on Bimini 😅…they don’t have prices. For good reason! They’re $43 US dollars!! Yessss if they were thinking stupid Americans… our kids were those ppl. They were too scared to tell us. They still talk abt it 5 months later. 😂 They’re learning big lessons to tell other ppl abt. If there’s no price, you don’t wanna know and DONT get it! Get away from it! 😊❤
