The Schnyige Platte is located in the Jungfrau Region in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland. It can be reached in summer either on foot (but this takes time) or by train. The train ride opens up wonderful views of Lake Thun as well as Lake Brienz. In the last section you can see the triumvirate "Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau"
There is a mountain hotel on the Schnyige Platte. Each room has its own motto and at night there is a surprise waiting for you on the ceiling!
