Heading back in late September, thanks for the recommendations. We like the Nacho Hippo in North. If you and your daughter go back soon I would rec Hamburger Joe's which is also in North Myrtle. 10/10 diner-style smashburger joint with truly the best wings I've ever had. We go every trip.

Angelo's Steakhouse is the BEST. I like Kings Pizza too. Drive up to Holden Beach and try Provision Company Seafood. It's a great place to eat. We stop by everytime we go.

We never skip going to Rioz when we are down there. In Murrell's Inlet, we pass by the really busy seafood places and go to Nance's.....yum to the hushpuppies! This past trip, I tried the new bubble tea place at the Market Common area. It was fantastic!

I'd like to suggest a few recommendations that didn't make the list if I may. JO-JO's, they have the best breakfast, especially the Biscuits and gravy, also the pancakes and French toast are fantastic. Bell's Diner, for lunch or dinner. Great seafood selections a really nice buffet with an outstanding raw bar and sushi. Also, plenty of surf and turf classics. Last but not least is Lily Georges, but it's closer to Surfside. Best fried chicken in the area and a really cool bar. They have a great menu, but like I said their fried chicken is world renowned. Wings and appetizer's are unbeatable as well. Great night life here. And also Sea-fare in Murrels inlet and Benjamin's calabash are great buffets too. Be sure to check them all out next time and enjoy! JO-JO's and Bell's Diner also offer half off at many miniature golf courses on the strand with your receipt.

Hey L Thanks for the vid, great places. We are locals and our favs are. Costa, Wahoos, Hot Fish Club, Peronnes, Bistro 217, Gios, Franks Outback, Dannys Pizza Murrells Inlet, Uncle Mikeys, Quigleys, Chive Blossom, just to name a few. Try them if you haven't, you won't be disappointed...

Food is so subjective. It depends on what you’re use to and do you eat out often enough to really even judge. I think for the money if you like seafood you can’t go wrong with any of the seafood buffets in the area. A lot of places here give you more plate than food unfortunately. We went to Blueberry Grill and left feeling cheated. It’s a light bite type of place honestly. Check reviews like Yelp and ask locals once you arrive where you should go.

A new restaurant to try is the "southern chicken". It's on 17 S going into Garden City. Across the street from Ocean Lakes campground entrance. They have buffet and take out. Open from 11:00am til 7:00pm

Its obvious you guys don't get a obvious myrtle beach trick. Don't eat at ANY restaurant on the beach side of the intercoastal waterway. All your choices were subpar unfortunately.
