So glad to see Jennifer and Ariel teaming up again. Love the video and now I am so hungry. I always enjoy watching you both. Keep making great videos because you do such a great job and I enjoy the videos so much.👏👏
Jollibee is just OK. Chicken and sweet spaghetti are what you should try if you can ( service is incredibly slow even when there is no line). Carmine's for lunch and Juniors for dessert would be recommended. Avoid dinner at times square Carmines as it will be full due to Theatre crowd. Carmines also has a location on uws 91st and Broadway (the original, which is much larger)
Happy New Year! Unfortunately not gonna make it into Time's Square this year, which is a shame since the weather is supposed to be better than most years! Only onwards and upwards for next year!
I'm excited. I'm driving there from Chicago this weekend. I'm staying in the flower district. I'm so excited.. especially for Los tacos and that cheese cake...my mom said we have to try Joe's pizza . Would you recommend them ? I love pizza . It's Supposedly the best in new York.
I went to Los Tacos in Chelsea Market and those are hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had. Carne Asada with corn tortilla is amazing! Junior’s cheesecake is amazing! And I highly recommend going to Stardust, it’s such and experience!
I really like Junior's in Times Sq. My hotel was close to there and it was a good place to get off your feet and enjoy all around good food and amazing cheesecake. A lot of New Yorker's say it's a tourist trap, but hey....as a tourist, I enjoyed it.
3.75 for a taco is pretty damn expensive. I have an authentic Mexican taco place where I live in Ct and tacos are 1.75 or 2.50 for shrimp and fish tacos.
There are such limited options so yes those are a few favorites! I just explored a few new spots to eat though including small NYC chains that I will include in a new video! Have you been to City Kitchen for example there are so many great options there too!
Firstly I was beginning to think the past few days that I may not be able to wish you a blessed 2019 because no videos were coming in. I started to miss you and watch older videos. :😀🙂 About this video, it sounded as though your mouth was watering speaking about the tacos. You were very informative about the tacos. They look very tasty. I have never in my life eaten a taco and would like to try one a day! Happy New Year Jenny! Hope you have a prosperous year ahead filled with long health, increased health and the determination and commitment to continue doing what you do best! Keep the videos coming and as always stay sweet! 😗 Ohhh and your hair 😍😍😗
Thank you so much, what a thoughtful comment, really appreciate it! I absolutely love those tacos so much! Where are you located, you need to try a taco! Thank you so much Happy New Year Kyle! Wishing you the best prosperous and happiest New Year! Thank you so much again for this thorough and thoughtful comment! :)
@@Jenniferobrien Trinidad is nice. Its just the crime rate is too high and its a racial game. We are brainwashed into this racial warfare between east indians and africans. But our cuisine and culture, out of this world!
I always avoid eating around Times Square but this video change my mind, I've been to Jolibees and love it, I definitely will have to try the taco place, it looks really good, and authentic, good too see you making a collab with Ariel from Urbanist, Happy New Years.
Oh so glad I could change your mind! I love Jollibee too and you need to try Los Tacos Numero Uno, seriously LIFE CHANGING! It was so good and thanks, Ariel is an awesome guy too! Happy New Year to you too, thanks for commenting, would love if you check out my 2018 video recap when you have a chance, thanks so much!
OK Jennifer, who is this Ariel and why still the Brooklyn man bun? That's about as done and torn jeans (Actually, torn jeans should have been done twenty years ago). Nice of you to brave Time's Square for the rest of humanity though. Had to go to a company event on 44th the other day - yikes.
Haha Ariel is my friend and also a great video person, his channel is Urbanist. Haha the man bun is still so in especially here in Brooklyn along with the torn jeans... the ripped jeans one I've never fully understood and should definitely be done! OMG yes when I go to Times Square I have to mentally prepare myself, was there yesterday and it was so crowded we could barely walk, that was stressful!
All the food looks good when you live in area where they had people cook on a campfire , living with no heat and electric during entire winter time . :0 no joking either ,actually happened to a few here so this would be actually pretty awesome to most were this is normal everyday stuff just eating good cooked foods .... Stuff looks great Jen!
The Island of Trinidad and Tobago Jen! I would like to see our cuisine highighted a day on your channel! Most importantly our culture! You are such a jolly soul with an intelligent mind and figure!
I was so caught up in going to Chelsea's Market and getting Los Tacos that I forgot they had another location. I didn't get any at Chelsea's Market, but I could have in Times Square. Smh
Hehe, yes, I like to change it up so I'm not always wearing the coat in the video LOL, but you're right and more with me wearing my lovely red coat coming up soon! Currently editing one now for my 2018 recap! :)
I've read a lot of reviews about Stardust being a tourist trap with bad expensive food, rude staff and them handing around a bucket for more money on top of the tip. I wouldn't go there.
True, this is for those who don't feel like walking I guess, but some of these are technically in Hell's Kitchen, they're both very close! Thank you for watching!
Surprised that TGI Fridays was not on this list.... ;-). If you like value steak and jacket potatoes there is a TAD steakhouse in Times Square now I think. Visited the one on 34th years ago and it was cheap but huge portions and over all a very good value if plain food without the frills.
