Just remember colorado is like California if you drop your wallet kick it over next to a building BEFORE you bend over to pick it up. If there is a little bald guy with girls pants on wathching just leave it and walk away
@@iconicsyn3095 HI sir it was a nice experience. got to experience Temp at 11 degrees with 5 inchs of snow didn't see any sights worked and stay in Hotel. But, not for this Southern Alabama girl HaHaHa
@@iconicsyn3095 Hey it was beautiful, the mountains look like a portrait. 2 weeks before I left I experience 5 inches of snow and 11 degrees. Now that's pretty exciting for a Southern girl. However, Im glad to be back home safe warm, slightly cool some days. HaHaHa
Thank you so very much for not including the town in Colorado I'm moving to. It's a quiet but fun little paradise within walking distance of one of the towns you mentioned. I wouldn't have known it existed had I not stumbled across it by accident. Like the locals there told me: "It's a secret that keeps the goblins & trolls from invading." Thankfully, they confirmed that I'm definitely not goblin or troll material.
My boyfriend (from PA) and I (from Germany) will be checking out some of these cities in 2024 to decide whether we want to live in Colorado and where. Your videos have been a big help, thank you so much 🙏
This was the most enjoyable display and discussion of the Colorado front range cities -- well done!! I lived in COS for 5 years spanning 1987 - 1991. I love COS and miss it very much, but had to leave because the technology jobs were shrinking. I would love to have a second home in COS. I miss Old Town, the restaurants, the Zoo, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, the people, and even the winters. Just writing about it makes me "home sick".
Thank you so much! I'm glad we were able to bring back some great memories of cities along the Front Range. It really is a pretty place to live and visit.
The pandemic made it such that I now have a fully remote job and now seriously considering relocating to Colorado Springs from Orlando. While I don't hate Orlando, my family does not like the beach that much and we only occasionally go to the theme parks these days. Additionally, the climate is only agreeable for about 3 months out of the year (Winter) but that's when I'd rather be skiing - otherwise, I'm basically stuck inside with the A/C running nonstop. And, I think my family is ready for some place new to explore - Colorado is centrally located within the country - so not a horrible drive to many destinations.
@@JasonTaylor-po5xc This is one of the reasons we decided to make Colorado our forever home (and I moved back here from Texas). It's nice to live in a state with actual seasons and times of year when you don't have to run the A/C. Thanks for watching!
My girlfriend just got into technology and we were considering moving to Colorado. So is all of Colorado bad for technology jobs or just Colorado Springs? Thanks for any advice :)
Yeah, I'm considering everywhere along the Front-range. I think Pueblo is a bit far from Denver for my taste - I might need to occasionally travel for work so reasonable access to DIA is needed - but beyond that, I'm fully remote. But, the housing everywhere else along the Front Range makes Pueblo a tempting consideration.
Thank you so much for this video made making my choice of moving my family out by end of year from California. looking forward to to breathe of fresh air.
Amazing! Glad we were able to help. Don't forget to grab our free ebook if you haven't already. Good luck with your move! go.hashtagcoloradolife.com/considercolorado/
Wife & I lived in Gleneagle, just north of the Co Springs city limits for 9 yrs. We were actually closer to Monument, a legendary mining town. Loved it. Our son & family lived in Castle Rock, a fast-growing city between Co Springs & Denver. Awesome town. I'd avoid Denver unless you love crazy traffic & all the other trappings of the largest city in the state.
Wait, on the preview slide that’s not a picture of the front range, is it? I guess what irks me is that all this media about Colorado is mostly about the front range but all those scenic mountains views are in the western slope. Yet that’s hours away from where most people live, on the plains.
Great question! The thumbnail photo is a picture of Durango, which isn't on the Front Range but it's not on the plains either. However we have loads of beautiful scenic mountain photos from the top of Pikes Peak, San Juan mountains, and the Foothills all along the Front Range!
I've never lived on the Colorado plains since I live along the Front Range all my life. But there are some unique towns to live in east of the Rocky Mountains.
PBS says Colorado Springs will be one of the worst cities to live in in the next 10 years in the USA. RE: drought. Fire danger is high. Insurance is high. Housing and general cost of living are high.
And despite what PBS says, there will still be people who live here and are drawn into the area. The things you describe (minus mother nature) sound like growing pains that just about any major city will have to run into at some point.
ok, you provided a pretty negative review on "reasons you don't want to move to colorado" on your online homepage. you provided the pros here....what are the cons of the list of cities you just provided?????
Golden was mentioned but only in passing as it's not one of the most popular cities along the Front Range. We had to limit our video which was already getting pretty long. But Golden is a great place to live!
Borne and raised in Colorado. Since the Progressive Left has taken over the state it no longer is a great place to live. I moved out 25 years ago and have no regrets.
Unfortunately, now, Colorado is the number to California so there is really no great place to live here anymore. Unaffordable on every aspect. A lot of the people that were born here and grew up here had to move because a certain group of people made it to unaffordable.
Colorado is still affordable to me, so I think it depends on the situation and the perspective. Yes, the prices have definitely increased over the years, but that has happened everywhere.
