Here we are, walking around Rotterdam and exploring other places to see that are not Cubes Houses or Market Hall. Make sure you add them to your to do list in the Netherlands 🇳🇱
🏣 Stadhuis Rotterdam or Rotterdam City Hall - it is generally a beautiful building, but it also has the prettiest courtyard, so make sure to stop there for a minute.
🛳️ Port of Rotterdam - a must-visit place in Rotterdam. Not very touristy, but with lots of beautiful and extremely huge ships.
🌉 Erasmus Bridge - has complicated architecture and is a visiting card of the city. You can easily cross it and explore another side of the city.
🏡 Rotterdam buildings - pay attention to the buildings around you. Sometimes you will spot really cool and diverse architecture, like floating houses for example.
🚧 Maastunnel - one of the oldest tunnels in the Netherlands, connecting the northern and southern parts of Rotterdam under the River Maas. It was a great experience to go through it. ALSO! The escalators there date back to 1942 and are among some of the earliest examples of escalator technology.
🗼 Euromast - another visiting card of the city. Make sure to buy a ticket online to save some money. It offers panoramic views of the city.
📸 The Art Depot in Rotterdam or Collectiegebouw - an amazing structure with an interesting concept. You can also buy tickets and go inside if you wish.
🎨 Other buildings and art in downtown - there are quite a few interesting graffiti, houses, and sculptures around the city. My favorite was ‘Melly Shum hates her job’.
