@@bradleyrobinson8095 what do you mean they have no weaponry? Unless you’re talking about the starter planes like the TF-51 that you get when you buy just the game itself.
3rd party devs are working HARD to create those planes and it takes lot of time too. They aren't done by Asobo/Microsoft. Of course they have the right to ask high prices.
For people who enjoy vintage planes the Dornier Do-X is really the best buy. 12 engines, a fully modelled interior and it's a flying boat. And it's way cheaper than these options with just about $15, I think.
For Airliners, if you're more of an Airbus fan. The Fenix A320 is the best one you can get, it has a fully functional cockpit including circuit breakers. There's a fully modelled cabin and hundreds of liveries included that can be downloaded for free.
The most interesting you should get are any Seaplanes. Separately ive wanted to see anyone dispell the riskiness of the Icon A-5, but likely will be awhile before we see a simulator version.
@@topgun1457 Should still be in the best planes to buy list imo, pretty cheap (will soon) come with free engine and winglet options and overall a more immersive experience. Not for everyone but it is definitely one of the best.
iRacing motorsports simulator is a subscription-based service, but you get what you pay for. For a 2-year membership, it's over $100, and each additional car is around $12, and each track is $15, although it's all laser-scanned.
the difference here is that these are all 3rd party addons microsoft and asobo have little to do with them in iracing the devs who make the base game also make the addons
I would recommend to try taking off from Orio Al Serio Bergamo airport from the main runway and then landing on the secondary General Aviaton runway right next to the main one. It should be interesting as the secondary runway is around 778 metres.
pmdg isnt a microsoft studio?? they work like flight factor and fenix, they make a high quality plane and they sell it to make profits, thats how businesses work
I've never really been into the whole Sim thing. But I will say this. The PMDG 737-800 model has been incredibly useful for my at home study before I start training for my 737 type rating at the airline I work for. Seeing how the systems react with each other during flows has been invaluable for my understanding of the aircraft. 10/10 would recommend.
for those who dont have the game, the game comes with every type of plane, just not every plane, these planes hes mentioning are modded games, which is why textures vary, you dont have to buy anything to have an enjoyable experience
My personal favorite is the F14 just because it is the most realistic plane in terms of flight performance. The F14 A's engines work better at about 35ft and the aircraft turns and rolls best between 18 and 25 thousand feet which make it one of the most realistic jets in the sim.t's also nice to be able to create custom paintworks so easily. Clearly my favorite and the aircraft if spent most time in
i absolutely love the C-160, very nice to fly. fuel transfer is good, and important. especially when flying from munich to JFK, so you better learn it beforehand. unless you want to do a stop at iceland to refuel
People are complaining about the price but remember someone has to model these by hand for every little detail Have fun with crappy meshlaps if your not satisfied
If you want fighters I advise to play DCS, you will pay the same price for more realistic models and will be able to fight with those. Only downside is you don't have a map of the whole world
Going to recommend also getting IndiaFoxtEcho fighters, which are also really detailed and have good flight models. Another one good is the F-104 by SimSkunkWorks (extremely realistic for a msfs plane)
Nah DC Designs F-14 or F-15 are probably the best. The F-15 has a working MFD taken from the F/A-18E code and the F-14 is just extremely detailed and is super realistic. Both handle extremely well too
I can't play msfs right now because my Xbox Series S can't run it anymore but I'm getting a PC soon that should be able to run it well so I will check some of these planes out
For the people wondering why the planes cost 40$ or more its because they are made by 3rd party developers who put months of work into these study level aircraft that are insanely realistic. Microsoft dont have any input into these aircraft except basic bug testing.
Understand that most of these planes are not made by Microsoft and rather by individuals or even companies that invest time into making a specific type of plane or series of planes. This means that #1 it’s not going to be a part of the base game. #2 they are more realistic and sometimes even working with aircraft manufacturers to provide the most in depth experience. #3 Made by a bunch of fans of aircraft or pilots to have this experience in the sim. So yes, it will cost money, it’s not the same as making a mod for a game in the Steam workshop, especially when people are looking for realism, and especially when it has to deal with simulation and real world things.

best fighter aircraft right now are the dc/cj/sc designs fighters and best prop fighters are flying iron's planes only reason i would not put top mach f-22 is it is not 100% realistic to the real aircraft but it is the best f-22 we have
