I would say that this video is a perfect collection and display of the versatility Markkanen has presented this season. Donks, 3's, blocks, post-ups, mid-range shots, offensive rebounds, defends well etc etc. Not a one-trick-pony.

My favorite teams are the Jazz and Bulls and when the Jazz traded for him I was so disappointed. Thought he was washed up. Proud to be proved wrong!! Love this guy and really excited for the future with him.

I haven't watched the NBA in a few years I first heard about Markkanen in a Charles Barkley interview, Chuck thinks this guy is a perennial all star which brought me to this video, there are probably a few similarities to Larry Bird. The jump shot is phenomenal.

Congrats Lauri! Well deserved honor. 24.9ppg with less field goal attempts per game than Jordan Clarkson (16.1). Shooting 3s with higher % than Steph Curry (43.2%) finishing from the field with higher % than DeMar DeRozan (52.1%) and has scored more points this season than Donovan Mitchell (1196). While getting 20th most rebounds in a league this far with 8.7 per game. MIP for sure.

Kind of a unique choice on editing here... The first play was a normal three in the middle of the game. About the 1:33 mark he has dish off assist to Vanderbilt for a corner three. I mean, I love Lauri, I'm sure he's got better highlights than this or at least bigger shots in more important parts of the game. But hey, not my job. They probably did a better job than I would have. Congratulations Lauri!

Whoever makes these videos should be fired. This video left out: - His Dirk-like fade against the Suns to seal the game. He had his then career high in that game also and it was a Booker vs. Lauri show in offense. - This also left out ALL his step-back threes: nothing special in catch and shoot threes but whenever a seven footer throws one in from step-back it is impressive. - This also left out his greatest alley-oop where he threw that from a half-court pass one-handedly in. And the pass was not even the most accurate one. That embodied his athleticism the best from all of his plays this season. - This also left out a sideline play where there was few tens of second left in the quarter to get a basket. He tipped in of the pass a soft-touched basket from around 7-8 feet distance. Something U don't see every game.
