Awesome job, was playing around with it and noticed you also need to have 'Allow unsupported Power BI features' tickbox in Preferences checked to ensure the apply fix scripts will work, for me this was unticked by default.
Holy Cow... That is bananas.... Exactly the kind of tool and smooth overview I was seeking. The implementation is superb, and the highlight reel (this video) is sublime (as usual). The two together are a powerful productivity boosting combination. You guyz r da bomb.
Love the video! Thanks to you and Adam for putting these videos out to help us out. I did have a question. I'm working on a Dashboard that has, at last count 45 visuals! I ran the performance analyzer and my "Query Ms" times aren't huge (worst one was 135 Ms) but 13 of the "Render Ms" are above 5000! Do you know if just the sheer volume of visuals that is causing this? I also noticed when we run this report in the Edge browser it runs extremely slow but when we run in chrome it runs a lot faster. Thanks
Wow. I'd like to understand all the functions that slow down reports. Maybe go through that JSON file. I'm sure I'm committing a lot of these "slowing" errors at work. Are there any videos on functions to avoid, due to inefficiencies on this channel?
Can anyone help me understand how to enable the generate fix for my data model? I cannot find any blog post about it. i have a lot of errors and i dont want to manually go through them if the generate fix script can help me clean it! Please help :')
I am using this calculation group. this is very helpful. I am facing a problem when i export it from power bi service. the problem is - I see the measures like CY,PY,YoY,YoY% CY reach% to PY in columns in the visuals, but when i export this to an excel then these measures are not exported as columns but they are turned into rows and also changes the number formats from %s to numbers. Can you please let me know if you have a solution for this?
