Best practices for Memorystore for Redis 

what does number of connected clients represent in monitoring dashboard or redis memorystore instance? I'm having hard time understanding this. And on what values does it depends on? I submitted a streaming dataflow job which gets data from pubsub and do a set and get command in memorystore instance. I used jedispool with maxTotal=1, maxIdle=1 and minIdle=10 and incoming data rate was 2k message/sec. the number of connected client's gradually increased to 2k which is not expected. Because my understanding is that as i am making the connection in the @setup inside DoFn, and with the help of print statement and i found out that there are 280 DoFn's running in parallel. That means the connection would be made once for every DoFn, then how come the number of client connections is greater than 280?
