Andaming nakaltas sa savings ko last year teata but that's because I finally treated my dad a nice TV :') and myself a nice iPhone 14 pro max! (which I don't mind kase i'm going to use it as pagkakitaan to my online store), this year andami naming travels for my family local and 2 internationals. And while I am not sure how to replenish my initial nicest savings from last year, bumping to this video will surely help my mentality. Some of it are truly repetitive from your previous videos but what works, works. (Just like the out of site, out of mind stuff). It's just really important you know where your heart is why you're doing all of this and for me it's for my family that's why I am working so hard. It'll be a first international travels din for us as a family of 3. Thank you for this!

Definitely agree na we shouldn't be comparing our finances with others kasi ibaiba tayo ng journey. I feel bad knowing na I'm in the red rn. Pero upon further checking, it's not all bad kasi my loans are all calculated and for investment(education and later real estate) and I know from thorough assessment na malaki yung returns nya sa future and had I chosen to wait and save up first, baka hindi ko na maaafford yung investments ko or mas lower tier yung makuha ko for the same price na nakuha ko sila rn. I guess my point is not all debts are bad and not to feel bad if your finances doesn't look similar to other people kasi ibaiba tayo ng journey.

If I compare my savings rate, mas mataas last year yun sa akin. Maybe because I mainly prioritized my EF last year. But this year, madami akong sinking funds + I started investing rin so nahati yung usual savings rate ko. For next year, I'll probably focus more on funding my grad school and for my travel fund. Though those are just some of my tentative plans for now, I have not yet sat down and go over my year end finance check in.
2022! Was able to buy the lot I’ve been eyeing for since this January, so ipon uli savings dahil naubos sa DP. Was able to save 1.25x of my goal savings for this yr (dahil bulk ng bonus/13th month, dun ko rin nilalagay) targeting to save double of my savings for next yr, trying to eye applying to jobs that can make me earn more. Thank you Ms. Thea! Sana worth it ang investment (tapos na ako sa stocks/crypto phase, lost a lot so properties naman. Business, di pa sure kung anong gusto and pwede kaya di muna yun ang pinush)

Hi Thea, I am your new subscriber and I looooove your contents. :D I started getting serious with managing my finances just mid of this year (Covid19 realizations, ofcourse haha). 1 thing I did was to start tracking all my expenses and dangggg did it make a huge difference. I became aware of where I spent my money the most (and it wasn't a good picture to look at). The other thing I did was separating my savings account and my payroll account. This is really a game changer. Out of sight out of mind!!! Thank youuuu!

2022 is not a year for me when it comes to finances. My pets got sick one by one, so we have to bring them to the vet and of course the cost, but thats okay since they are part of the family. However, what I did not expect is I have to be admitted for emergency blood transfusion and it cost me a lot which lead to adebt that I have to settle this 2023.. 😥

The problem with paymaya is pag nag cash in ka anlaki ng charge kaya di ko na tinuloy mag savings... wala namang china bank dito samin.. yung ibang banko is na free of charge eh sa kabilang bayan pa.. nakakaloka...
