I actually like using the Super 530Fs on this one since they don't give a launch warning due to the pulse guidance; the opponent still gets the single target lock warning but won't ever get the "LAUNCH" warning/tone because you're never sending a CW signal. (I've tested this with the F-14A/B and the F-16C). So if your opponent actually has brain cells it probably still won't work, but if you lock someone from a decent distance to get them "used" to the lock and fire the missile a bit later, you can do a moderate amount of trolling. Works best on F-14As and other stuff that doesn't tell what kind of plane is locking you. Also you can get a custom Iraqi skin and larp as Saddam's Strongest Soldier fighting against Iranian tomcats if you wish
i recomend flying this thing with the 2 extra cannons and just 2 magic 2`s. especialy now after the sale 90% of your team is bombing bases and i got teamkilled 11 times yesterday becouse i took ''their'' bases. shooting like 5 bunkers earns more then a base and you can catch people out with the wall of bullets coming their way. right now bombing basses at 11.3 is a death sentence. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SEEK TURN ON AUTOMATIC JETTISON OF SPENT ORDANANCE PLEASE.
I also bring the middle 530E besides the gunpods and Magics, it's nice to have in a chase or for other targets of opportunity. 15G ain't much, but with good lead you can get some nice use out of it. Also, watching a slow ass missile clap Mig-23s really cracks me up.
@@theycallmetray396 like the other guy said the gun pods literally weight the same amount as the Telefone pole missile's and they are just straight up better. They are like 150 kg a pop they are light af.
If you're going to rocket bases, its worth it IMO to set up the salvo keybind so you can mag dump the pods instead of single fire. With all 4 pods equipped, you can set to 16-ripple and the pods are empty in about 2 seconds.
I have the F1c and when you play it right, I get 4-5 kill matches with consistency. I take two of the radar missles as headon missles and the magic 2‘s from behind-side engagements. The most important this is to not go into the furball!!!
Thanks for the video. Did end up using your code to pick it up the mirage after eyeing it for a while. Dont know if you know, but you might want to turn on "empty weapon containers automatic jettison" helps get rid of a bit of extra weight ready for the dogfight.
Honestly out of all the WT youtubers, Seek is the best in my opinion hands down. Every video I'm excited to watch and see if opinions are similar and by golly they're even better then that! Wording, descriptions, mechanics, gameplay all explained in ways I feel new or old players could understand and be engaged with at the same time. After grinding Usa, Russia, Sweden and Germany I couldn't help but look at that lonely mirage on my wish list.. been playing it for about 4 days now and already almost tier 7 then bang Seek video incoming! The 530Fs have been very decent recently, being able to reliably ignore chaff for some reason. They are on par with Aim-7Ms in my opinion. Im not sure what has been changed. *my experience is with the F1CT only
@@Favorye Im not sure. Ive been playing the F1CT and Baz recently and have been having similar success rates with both their SARHs. Could be that 11.3 is filled with players not running chaff?
The 530F is NOT equal to the 7M/7F. You are smoking crack of you say so. Worse seeker, 5G less pull, less range. The 530F does have some form of chaff rejection but its very unreliable and would go for chaff 80% of the time.
I've had this plane for almost a year. My fav loadout is 2 magic 2s, 2 super 530fs, 2 rocket pods, 1 2000lb bomb. enough to get one base and a couple kills
When the radar missiles get chaff resistance, then I’ll at least *consider* picking it up. For now I ain’t missing out on much other than a relatively slow grind in a meh airframe with its 2 god missiles.
If you insist upon going after bases (fair enough in sim), carry 2x rkt pods and a 2000lb. Lets you get a base on your own without losing either of the 2 SARH/gunpod racks
I would recommend 2x 2000lb bombs, and 2 magics, with 17-19 min fuel ( depends on map ). Rocket pods have way too much drag, 2 times more than bomb. I wouldn't recommend going fully A2A loadout for grinding, had a 9 kill game, 17 mins - 52k rp, same exact amount for 5 kills + 1 base with mentioned loadout. You will beat F4s, mostly, f104s will be only things faster than you.
@@badrepputation rockets also have less of an impact on your flight performance (no idea what this guy's on about, 3x2000lb bombs have almost double the impact of the 144 rockets)
@@geckogaming5884 You do only need 2 2k bombs to take out a base, they are heavier than 4 rocket pods but also have way less drag, I think that is what he was refering to. In which case he is correct on that the rockets provide way more drag than the bombs do.
If the radar didn’t get one chaffed, I wouldn’t use another plane honestly. One of the bests things I’ve picked up in my late WT career even with that downside. If you are more sparing with the radar missiles and try to find the few bozos without chaff, you will have much more success. Or, of course, you can trade those for rockets/bombs and still have two magic 2s to hand over to the red team. (Might just be glazing this plane extra because it’s still got that “new and different” allure to me, but trust. It slaps)
can you male a video about the phantom II premium US. I was hesitant buying it but from your last video i went and got but i am struggling against f-15 and f-16. I played the mig-23MLA and it looks like the phantom is worse when it comes to uptiers
Its good for 1 thing silver lion farm in RB and SB battles not fighter headon plane, in al fight tatics you loose but for get base fast this are super op an cool, 60k per 10 minute in sb and 130/160k lion in RB with 1 or 2 bases and remember you have 2 matra magic 2 very cool for 4km shots
I'm thinking if I should buy the F1C-200 or get the talisman for the F1CT? The CT basically lost the center hard point for missile in exchange for a better rwr.
Can you jettison an empty weapon? How do you select it to jettison if there’s no more of it to select? Afaik empty pods and pylons don’t count against ur performance, they’re the same as not being there at all
@@SeekerHead In options, there's a setting under "Air Battle Settings" called "Empty weapon containers automatic jettison" which does what it says, no need to select the weapon, as soon as it's run out it jettisons it. Better safe than sorry.
Hi Seek, As a complete noob to the game, may I ask a few questions please. I want to download the game but is it ok to just download through Steam? I play all my games through Steam and thought it would be more convenient. I am just curious, I wanted to make a purchase and I have seen a lot of comments from others saying you need to link another account to Steam in order to receive bought packs. I just don’t want to buy something and not receive it. Lastly I want to buy a premium Jet Pack as there 50% off, I know it may be hard to jump into a Jet but I am obsessed with them and no matter what I just want to fly one and will learn no matter what. I was thinking about the F-5C pack as you have mentioned that it’s a good jet, definitely thinking this one. im having a really hard time grinding the us tree with the f4s because of how bad it is and also getting killed by the unflareable (in my experience) magic 2s is not fun :(
god did i learn to absolutly despise this thing been trying to take a F14 from stock to spaded, and the fact that you cant flare a magic2 nor cant you outrun a F1C is SO cancerous the other day, coming back to the airfield, ran out of fuel but was still going around 900km/h since it was a dive from high alt, F1C appears at the deck and fires a magic2 2.7km away. Completly dead cold engines, double tapping flares with a 1/1.5 s interval and changing my course so the missile can see the flare = completely blasted anyways Honestly now everytime i get one of them on my tail i really ponder if its worth putting up a fight or just slamming it in the dirt and getting it over with
Fair warning for everyone though: while the F1C-200 is absolutely a great plane and a great grinder, 12.3 currently sees a LOT of full downtiers (= 11.3 sees a lot of uptiers). This does mean that you can meet AMRAAMS, since the AV-8B+ is 12.3, and your RWR may not be able to detect when an Aim-120 is tracking you (I know for a fact I got hit by one without any rwr warning, even though it has an I-band radar, which you should be able to detect).
I was playing yesterday in the F-4S I got recently and had an AV-8B+ shoot an aim-120 at me and I still have no idea what I could've done to avoid getting hit lol

I bought this plane and I regret it. Less bcs the plane and more bcs its environment. Most of my teammates for some reason are just base destroyer F4Ss, while my enemies are air to air killers like F-15s. And I also hate how they lower the multipath alt while still keeping the 16v16. I often died to 7F or 7M, even just like above sea or top tree level. I seriously hate these conditions to point that I rage deleted the game, its seriously not fun Yeah some of you would say just to use the plane for grinding, but I bought this for fun. I dont really want to be trapped within grinding demonic circle
Been saying this for months one of the top premiums in the game rn. Slaving the magic 2 to radar lock in headons will pretty much always get u the kill regardless of if they flare
The problem I see with this aircraft (since I have it) is that you cant consistently bomb with it, you are slower than the phantoms and tornadoes when carrying bombs, and one phantom can destroy 2 bases so you wont get any.
@@SeekerHead it is useless apart from the cw detection which does help but other then that its sp10 equivalent and even worse arguably cause notching with it is even harder

@@pko6596 umm no its a couple of chaff in any direction to throw those missiles off ive been grinding with the f-1 mirage all day and with the amount of chaff it can carry SARH missile are hardly a problem
