i also purchased the 1122TST Ultimate package from Matt at OG about a month ago. I use the unit with my Simple Chuck D/I water system from CR Spotless. I have used the system for about 10 washes at this point (it's for personal use). I must say that Matt at OG put together a fantastic package. I didn't want to have to worry about getting a really good sprayer, extension arm, quick disconnects, attachment hoses, etc. Matt has already done the work to find the absolute highest quality components to mate with the 1122TST. Love this power sprayer. Perfect, safe PSI for car washing, and the GPM is fantastic. Gets a lot of water onto the car, but at the same time conserves the resin material in my D/I system. I am a big believer in buying something once and using it forever, so a Kranzle was a no-brainer purchase: universally accepted as the benchmark in the industry. The 1122TST is a great portable unit. Takes up a tiny footprint in my garage, and although weighing 80lbs, is so easy to roll out into position and back into the garage. They really thought through the design of this unit to be perfect for the residential user or mobile detailer. This is a great channel-keep up the good work!
When you purchase a Kranzle as a homeowner or enthusiast you are not paying a premium for its performance. You are paying for a pressure washer that will most likely last you the rest of your life.
Having bought the Kranzle K1322TS Pressure Washer from Obsessed Garage, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about replacing that beast. The fact it auto self-primes/shuts off when not in use from my tank is easily the reason it's #1 for mobile detailing. The specs are the epitome of "perfect for detailing" cars. Great review and reaffirmation to the new people getting into detailing.
I'm starting my own mobile detailing business. Do you recommend I wait and save for one of these or cheap out for now and get this in a few years when it breaks. Currently just using hose and pump sprayers.
@@astroid99 Everyone starts on a different level. The 1322TS pressure washer is only part of a setup to be more efficient. If I was in your current position, I would be using a cheap pressure washer and clients water. Sure, it may limit apartment/work place clients, but you are working your way to a protocol that makes you more effective without a huge deficit of expenses in the present.
I have the Kranzle 1122 TST which I purchased through Obsessed Garage last year. I also ordered the swivel handle and lance. that he offers and a few other goodies. It works very well. It’s personal use for my truck, and my wife’s SUV. I believe it was around $2 k CDN. Highly recommend it.
I watched odsessed garage a whole lot at first but when I got into this hobby. But Matt gets on my nerves now. And his prices are high. All the bragging is not for me. I’d rather watch a more down to earth humble guy like you. We don’t have to spend that kind of money for good results unless you got money just to throw away or your the type of guy that always has to one up someone. I’d rather have a 200 pressure washer and spend 1200 on other detailing shit. Sorry for the rant Good job you got it reviewed and done in 15 mins I’d had to listen to his for an hour 😂😂
Dude, I know exactly what you mean. His channel turned into more of a "oh look what cool thing I just bought" as opposed to an actual detailing channel. I mean, do we really need an hour long video of him optioning out a new Porsche? But hey, there's an audience for everything I suppose...
Right... I struggle to get through or finish one of OG videos; Matt comes across way too arrogant I can sometimes see how biased he is with some of his testing. But hey it's not all that bad, thanks to Matt we can find other channels like this one.
@@Centaur008 .. I thought I was the only one thinking Matt @ Obsessed was too cool for me. I used to watch his videos, then found Josh. I don’t need a $1700 pressure washer, $300 wash buckets, a $250 wand to was my cars every few weeks. My Ryobi 1900psi w/ Josh’s suggested upgrades is around $300. Works killer. Sure I have a nice dinner about once a month, but not 5 days a week like Obsessed Matt does.
I just purchased the Kranzle 1322TS Ultimate package from OG. I purchased it due to German Engineering & longevity. People were raving about Kranzle’s quality online. I’d rather spend more now than to replace a faulty unit in a year like some others are stating. I also got stainless steel couplers to avoid the quick connects from sticking. It came with a MTM 2.2 Foam Canon, wand, gun, spray heads & more. I have a dedicated 20 Amp outlet available. It’s heavy at 49 pounds. Just got it yesterday so Time will tell if it was worth it.
Dude you are my favorite auto detail guy, I watch every single one of your videos, you are full of information and very enthusiastic with no bull. You just lost me with the L. W. He I exactly what I despise in the detail space, good luck 👍
I have a 1322 and been using for 3 years and only did one oil change. I can use it at 3 in the morning without waking the neighbors. Plus as compact as it is, easy to transport. The greenworks 2500 is close to AR 630tss price.
The pressure drop between machine gauge and handle gauge was explained and demonstrated in a polish RU-vid video. The culprit is the venturi pipe where the soap injector hose is attached on the K1122TST. On more professional/expensive Kranzle models the soap tank integration is totally different avoiding this issue altogether. A similar spec Kranzle pump to the K1122 without such a Venturi pipe only yielded a 5 bar/70 PSI loss over a 50" hose.
Small diameter hose/orifices have a lot of pressure loss so the discrepancy in pressures is not due to inaccurate gauges. If you shorten the hose you will get higher pressure at the nozzle and vise versa
1322TST is the way to go, especially if you’re mobile because it pulls water from tank. No need to buy an extra pump to pull water or mess with a gravity feed set up. Plus the start and stop feature is worth it.
I love all of your videos. You're a very humble reviewer and person. I will say I went ahead and purchased a CAT pressure washer. And with all the optional add ons and upgrades you can do to the hoses, wands, foam cannons it makes your pressure washer feel phenomenal and satisfying to use. I hope you continue to make the content you're putting out, I enjoy watching and learning!
Just to add some info about nozzle pressure, the gauges on the pump is correct, the pressure drop at the nozzle depends on the length and size of the hose plus the orifice size on the nozzle handle. The proper pressure that should be used on car paint is 900 to 1000psi as per obsessed garage. I use a 4.5 orifice nozzle , 45 degree spread. This is better not only for your pump and the amp draw but the paint as well. Doing a fabulous job!
I got the craftsman you reviewed and recommend and i love it . Works great way better than gas for me it only runs when you are using it and it is so small and easy to store . I am using most of the stuff you have reviewed ,washer, hose, soap, wipe down after wash ceramic. Thanks for all the great info!!
Josh, your channel has the best instruction videos and is very honest and you keep it so simple for all to understand. I make it a point never to miss any of your video's. I also like to read all the comments from all your viewers and subscribers and I can see they are a well established educated group. Keep up the great work and great success in all you do. God bless you Josh!
I just got the Kranzle quick release fitting (D12 type.on that 1122 model, readily available inc on Fleabay and Amazon if your real shop doesn'thave one) on my existing snow cannon. They're about £15 (so probably $15-20) with a standard 1/4" pipe thread. No need for a new lance.😁
Greenworks uses a cast aluminum pump housing that I have had fail twice and been left without it’s currently in the shop I just ordered this one. Obsessed garage is great but for past several weeks they have not had any machines
Kranzle is the gold standard for sure and is definitely something I plan to purchase in the future. That being said I can’t justify the purchase just yet as my $100 Ryobi unit is still going strong after 2 years. You definitely need to do a review of the Active 2.0, Matt said it himself you get Kranzle numbers for a fraction of the cost (it’s not serviceable like a Kranzle) however I believe the majority of your viewers are hobbyist or weekend warriors per say and will be a great option
My 1152 TST is on its way to my home.. Please share tips for which pistol sprayer can I connect to this system? And Which FOM cannon would you advise? Are the Orifices included in the kranzel machine?
I bought a Worx 1800 psi 1.2 and wow very impressed ! Check it out ? So small and well built as well. I’ve owned a lot of electric washers and this one I found to be very high quality and super powerful
Wow! That is the Ferrari of pressure washers. Thank you. I purchased a Ryobe 2300 electric P/W, as recommended by you and upgraded some parts like the hose, QD connections and Veloci Performance gun, wand and nozzles. Veloci supplies Obsessed Garage with their PW accessories.
I bought the AR when it was the OG's mid level but the specs were actually higher than the Kranzle. I bought his premium package with the hose and nozzle. The thing is heavy and not easy to carry around. I found a pro style pressure washer cart and mounted it to that. This thing is also a beast. It pulls slightly higher amps than the Kranzle so I put a dedicated 20amp outlet in the garage and bought a stupidly expensive 100ft extension cord that could carry 20amps without loss. The Kranzle is nice in the fact it's all self contained with the hose reel. Lugging the hose around and having to store it is a PITA.
Most all big box unites and all those you mentioned are throw away machines. I appreciate that you made this clear. I have a hard time excepting the useful hours scenario as I've never had one make it to a manufacturer’s life ratings. My last two throw-a-way (AR Blue's) were terrible, both failed due to inferior AULUMINUM CASTINGS. First one the cast aluminum high pressure outlet "tube" cracked at the pump head. Second one, another aluminum casting failure, this time on electric motor mounts to transfer case and pump. None of these were parts repairable. Yes they could be tig welded, maybe. Bottom line for me, no more throw-a-ways, repairable/rebuildables going forward. Purchased Krinzle 1622ts because of its 15 amperage rating and portability. I'm seeing 1.8 gpm @ 900>950 psi @ end of pressure hose, and 11amps with 3.5 nozzle, or 1.5 gpm @ 1,100 psi, and 11.6 amps with 3.0 nozzle. Foam cannon with 1.25 mm oriface pulls 13.5 amps and puts out quality foam that slowly dwells off nicely. With this 15 amp rating I'm able to pretty much plug-in anywhere or to a small gen-set. I mounted the 1622ts on a small all terrain tired hand cart so I can easily transport and wheel most anywhere. Cart holds everything, pistol grip gun, short lance, inlet & outlet hoses, nozzels, extra quick connections, small hand tools.
Great review on this unit. I also would have gone for the Kranzle 1322TST but it’s a little too far up for my budget. Instead, I went with a AR Blue Clean AR630TSS ordered from The Clean Garage at the level 2 package. Even though it’s a 20 amp rated machine, you can run it on a 15 amp circuit like I do. Using nozzles no smaller than a 5.0 and a foam cannon orifice of 1.5mm, I get about 14.4 amps and 14.2 amps respectively.
@@CaptainMike100 I get about 2.35 GPM, just under 1000 PSI and foam is still good with the 1.5 foam cannon orifice. I alternate between jax wax cannon soap and koch chemie GSF using only 2-3 ounces or 60-90 mL of product.
Lots of great information and appreciate your efforts sincerely. Just off listening compared to your other reviews pump performance aside the Adams seems to be the quietest unit of all the top tier ones you have tested to date.
You can buy the quick connect male plug and install in your own foam cannon. The supplied nozzle is 4.2 so your not going big enough if you want less pressure and more flow...
My 2 cents on this is If your spending over $300 on a pressure washer? go with Kranzle or even the AR630 is a good alternative, for this particular machine 1122 not producing the right pressure/flow imho the 042 nozzle is too big, for 1400 psi i'd go with .028 nozzle or at the very least 3.0 nozzle size to get close or spot on 1400 psi. or you can adjust the unloader just don't go over 1600 psi which is the max pressure allowed. As you can see on your test when u decrease the size from 4.2 to 3.5 nozzle ur pressure increase at @1200 psi. The 1122 also is louder and higher amperage than the other models because iirc the motor runs more than the usual 1400 rpm that Kranzle produce for home diy'er users. If own such unit i would throttle down the unloader so not to tax and give the motor longevity than usual. I own a few kranzle's and other brands but stuck with Kranzle for their simplicity and KranzleUSA and even Germany support which i didnt get from other brands....from wall mounted, cart mounted down to the simplest bare bone now discontinued i think Kranzle HD7 non Total Stop and id sell all of them except the HD7 which come to think of it is my go to machine, it's quiet and very handy u can put it almost anywhere and as far as serviceability? HD7 takes the cake overall. Whatever machine you finally decide on i'd say spend the extra money and go for all Stainless fittings/ quick connects and invest on extra rubber seals unless you want to be servicing your unit more than using it. Lastly maintenance is key if you want to enjoy and get the most out of these machines, just go over the machine twice or 3 times a year and it'll out live you lol! Hope this helps.
Excellent video. I’m new to the pressure washing thing and I’m looking for one that’ll be good not only for washing my vehicle but also to use around the house (driveway, sidewalk, vinyl sidings, and etc.). Is there one or several that’s recommended for that? Or do you have a video that’ll help? Thanks again.
This is a professional grade top of the line electric pressure washer..,if your going for home use, get a cheap gas pressure washer.. this is mainly for car detailing
Another great review Josh!! My Active 2.0 gets here tomorrow and I'm excited to try it out! It gets about the same numbers(Based on Obsessed's testing). I hope you have one on order to test!
You’ll like it. I have an OG kit and you can definitely feel the torque from the handle. Mine had a defect and Active did right and warrantied it. Enjoy!
Looking forward to getting the. Kranzle 1322TS about $1122 ? If you have not yet , can you make a video all your daily used equipment that you consider the best of the best ? So if the Kranzle is your daily use put that as the pressure washer you use and there was only one you can choose , which one would it be . Thanks bro “
I want one but really don't want to spend that much cash on a pressure washer. If I had a detail business I might do it but it's just me washing my own vehicle.
great video . until i get my own garage i won't get a premium unit. but when if i did i wouldn't get the Kranzle, for the money. ...id much prefer an industrial electric washer like the Northstar 1571101 or 1102. with adjustable variable psi 1500 to 2000psi @1.5 to 2.5 gpm stock so with a 3.0 4.0 nozzle. easily get 1200 psi at well over 2 gpm. but can also crank it up for tougher driveway jobs. very versatile. if I'm paying 1500 $ I better be able to do more than just rinse my car down. so until then I'm spending my 250 for the Active VE 52. or the new 2.0
Those numbers are for advertising. There is math formulas that calculate the amps required to pressurize water at a given gpm/psi. Pumps paired with an available input energy source has limits. There is no fairy dust to sprinkle on a unit to make it exceed standards. It's math. More input energy equals more output.
@Tim kinley those numbers are coming from someone I know who has a Northstar electric unit and tools me to get it over the Kranzle because the Kranzle doesn't like to be messed around with our it'll start acting up. it's a servicable unit he had to change the oil and can swap pumps out. he gets 1200 psi at 2.2 gpm and can adjust the unloaded valve to increase decrease pressure. the unit cost him just under 1k$ is built onto a cart with wheels. there are real electric pressure washers that professionals use everyday that are just as good as a Kranzle for the same price as one or cheaper.
Awesome review Josh. I’ll stick to my 1900psi Ryobi, McKilans wand, Griot’s Boss Cannon and Uberflex, all this for around $300. Sure I don’t have a coil for my hose, but this is all I need for the car and around house.
Why spend 1500 if there are 100$ PW out there that do the same job🤩nobody cares about best most care about 100$ price tag... but just to enjoy a cool few min video perfect machine
The reason the gauge at the wand is reading lower is because you lose pressure along the length of the hose due to restrictions. I bet if you used a shorter house and the largest least restrictive fittings you can, you'd have higher pressure at the wand. Both gauges are working normally.
I’ve tested that before on machines with no gauge there and I’ve had the same psi. I’ve also tested the psi between a 20’ hose and a 100’ hose and there was no noticeable difference. I agree with what you’re saying and that makes sense to me too, but from what I’ve tested in the past it hasn’t had a measurable difference
@@imjoshv sorry, I might actually be slightly mistaken. What I meant was, the gauge pressure at the wand is more likely influenced by the fitting at the end of the wand. If I am understanding correctly, the gauge on the machine should be representative of the pressure at the pump, rather than the true pressure exiting the machine. Essentially my theory is that the tip orifice should have negligible impact on the machine gauge. It is in my understanding that both are working correctly, but give different readings as they are in different locations. I agree that the gauge at the wand should be representative of the actual pressure of the cleaning water.
The hose itself loses efficiency (pressure), dependent on its length and inside diameter. A very similar thing happens with extension cords, dependent on its length and gauge, they lose volts
It would be interesting to have information and quick tests with the input line pressure being at a low household (35psi) to a high one (60psi ? and within a device's safe range) since some of these are not rated for low pressure inputs.
Input is considered as a constant flow and gpm. You'll have to get creative if the available gpm starves the pump. It's almost impossible to have such low a low amount of input flow from any residential supply line.
Good info. How would you compare it to the AR Blue Clean 630tss that you have. I am getting ready to build a wall mounted system and I am having a hard time deciding between Kranzle 1322 ts and the AR Blue Clean. I like the fact of having a unit I can Service and have in my garage for a long time. The specs are similar and the AR is much less money. I just don't want to buy the AR and wish I had the kranzle. What one do you Prefer??
@José Yepez I understand that but Josh usually changes out for 1.1mm on his foam cannons and in the video he shows himself using one and doesn’t talk about it. That’s why I asked the question
@José Yepez Absolutely not true. Kränzle actually recommends it on this and the HD 7/122 TS which is essentially the same machine. Just because it says Kränzle on the tin, does it not automatically mean that you need a 1.25 or 1.4. Here in Europe they actually offer s special set of small nozzles for these machines. I run the HD 12/130 which is a 3 GPM machine and that likes the 1.25, but will run with a 1.1 and not like a 1.4. These have a relatively low GPH and that's what really determines your nozzle size.
Too pricy for me but I see how it's good quality. So Josh... I'm trying to decide between the DeWalt 2100psi vs Ryobi 2000 vs greenworks 2300psi. Which one would be your pick ?
@@imjoshv oh ya I had a feeling you would recommend the greenworks. Seems like the one that is a great all rounder for car detailing and also other around the house cleaning duties
Josh could you please make a video for us just starting our Mobile Detailing Business about what avenues you feel are best for marketing. I have a Website and have run SEO on pretty much every page i could. So far I'm using Instagram and Smart ads on Google. I've been in business for 4 weeks and have had 9 customers. I know it takes leg work to like flyers, cards and visiting car Shows. But im running out of ideas. I know i have to be patient to since I'm just up and coming, but help would be greatly appreciated on this topic and sure many others who are stuck in this would love to learn too. I am registered to view the upcoming Wilson Auto meeting
Hey Chris, the thing that really took me to the next level and got me busy was building the Google page and reviews to get on the top 3 of the map results. Along with that I built out a couple sites that all have different key words to drive work coming in from different areas. I will use the name of the city and car detailing or auto detailing and other key words. I’m in San Diego and I started off targeting San Diego as the area but there were so many competitors doing the same thing I had a hard time getting traction. So I started marketing to specific areas in San Diego: pacific beach car detailing, La Jolla car detailing, etc… that way you have a better chance of ranking organically on search results!
@@imjoshv thank you so much! Love it! I found having a "A sign" or "sandwich sign" next to the vehicle or by the road has helped. It has a QR Code and my info and it has been nice to see people take pictures of it or scan thr code.
That’s a close one. It’s rated at 15amps but in the test obsessed garage did he was getting a little over that with the factory attachments. It’s hard to tell without just giving it a shot. Maybe order it from Amazon so you can easily return it if necessary
I just bought the Kranzle k1122tst with the MTM cannon and having no issue with the 15amp. I just make sure I have no other items plugged in at the same time . I only had it for the week and love it. It so quiet too.
Forget it. They fry like there's no tomorrow if you stick a 15 degree nozzle on it. Look at the Krazle HD 10/122 or 12/130. Both will spank the Bigboi no matter what the spec sheets tell you.
Yea I have a quite a few actually ha. But I have a comparison video I’m planning on doing and needed to get it. I looked at the inventory updates section on obsessed garage and for the kranzle it just said coming on the next shipment with no actual dates so I got it where I could. I thinks obsessed garages price was actually a little less than what paid for mine
As a professional detailer it makes absolutely no sense having a 1400 machine id stay with my little but mighty $100 ryobi one has good warranty and if anything happens to it just go to home depot and they exchange it no questions asked
This is probably overkill for the average user and I think for the price it should have more bells and whistles. If you can afford it then pull the trigger (no pun intended).
It may be ok for detailing cars that aren’t very dirty to begin with but IMO 1400psi is worthless for anything else. I’ve been selling pressure washers for 3 years. The smallest I sell is 2.5 gpm 3200psi. If you want a real pressure washer go with a Cat pump, Honda GX power or electric. For the money that rig cost you can do much better.
Right. So you are pretty new in the game with your three years, and it shows. PSI? Who cares? It's flow and if you sell pressure washers you better learn that. Ever head of CU? Also, mind you that this is a fairly small machine that most people can use in their home. Additionally when Kränzle tell you that you get X amount of flow, you get that flow. Many others talk a big game of PSI and GPM, but rarely deliver - Kränzle do.
@@AB-80X it’s over priced. A garden hose has flow so use that if you think pressure doesn’t matter. Any idiot knows pressure and volume matter. Yes selling for 3 years and started rebuilding them 1982. I started 5 hole Wheatleys.
