You described perfectly my frustration-the silkiness! On one hand you want to condition (I have color-treated) but all that does is make it SO soft that it doesn’t have any structure or hold any shape. Mine also tangles terribly so usually adding grit just makes that 10 times worse. I have tried Moroccanoil’s dry shampoo and I loved it. Going to give the others a try.
I need all the volume and density I can get!! I love the Moroccan Oil styling products also. I need a combination of the two shampoos -the perfect mix! Thanks for the tips. I am getting married in a month and the 5 hair strands I have need ALL the plump up - bump up action.
Thank you finally someone who knows what they are talking about have watched many videos usually american thatsuggest products that are in the hundreds per product x
Kerastase Densifique Masque Density is AMAZING, it really conditions well and leaves the hair feeling more ‘Substantial’ firmer, and with more ‘Body’. The formula is a RICH, slightly Sticky Gel-Creme that rinses easily. And the Densifique Mousse is quite good. FUN FACT: L’Oreal made the FIRST Mousse for the Drugstores - FREE HOLD and it was THE BEST, lots of HOLD with smoothness and shine and NO STICKINESS.
mike thank you so much for all your precious videos and advices, as a fine and oily hair girl these videos are so so helpful!! you're one of my new favs youtubers for sure!!
Hey Mike, in case you need ideas, I'd really love to learn more about haircare routine, like how often to wash hairs, use shampoo, conditioner VS hair masks, does using hair gel or styling products damaging hair, any products to protect hair from the sun..and another big one how to use hair blower properly. I've been experiencing hair loss, hence being very curious about all the know-how.
Very informative and helpful as usual! I love how you explain things it makes perfect sense and really helping when someone is going to decide which product is beneficial for their own hair type. Thanks Mike! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼
Been waiting literally for this recommendation from you! My hair has 0 volume and i’ve been using Living Proof Volume shampoo and conditioner with NO results. I will definetly try the ones you recommended next, thank you so much Mike!
@@p6660 i have the loreal serie expert shampoo (for my oily scalp) and serie expert 10-in-1 heat protector (before blow drying) and moroccanoil (for dry ends). i still have frizz but it's always because of the weather and my natural wavy/curly hair 😅 but my hair looks better now than it ever did :)
I am a guy,18yr old my skin is of oily type and i have dry and rough hair. what's the best shampoo and conditioner i can buy for fine soft and silky hair?
Ahh thank you so much for making this video!! This was exactly what I needed. Question about the Pli Shaper Tecni Art: what is the best moment to use it? Before you blow dry your hair or after?
Love your videos! What is The kerastase densifique mousse for, is it a leave in or for styling? Have Been using densifique shampoo and conditioner and they really are The best. Don't know about hairs density yeat, but My hair haven't felt this hydrated for years! Also THE SCENT!!
you can't deny you're Irish hehe thanks for the tips. Do you work in any hairdresser in Dublin? I'd love to go to your salon. keep me posted. Thumbs up to you
I've been successful with the Nexxus volumizing shampoo with elastin proteins with a very sparing amount of conditioner. I found that when I cut my conditioner to half of what I was using, it's actually improved.
Mike DeCanter Hair & Beauty just daily care products. I saw the vídeo about the shampoo options for greasy hair. And now wanted to know your opinion on the full combo (shampoo, conditioner, leave in/ heat protector)
I keep coming back to your videos. I have fine thin highlighted hair with flaky sensitive scalp. Any recommendation for shamp conditionner, serum? Thank you for your videos :)
I've been eyeing the Tecni art mousse for a while. Now surely I'm gonna buy it. Thank you! Also I love your videos, I love how informative they are. You really take your time to explain things. Highly appreciated 😊 I watched your how to shampoo correctly video and applied that technique today. Wonderful results! I used less shampoo and I have less frizzy hair today 😃
Mike, it is like you can read my mind! Your videos have helped me give my hair some ambition. I would love to thicken my hair and never thought of Kerastase Densifique.. Would that shampoo do an alright job protecting my meche highlights? Thanks
I’m becoming fan of all your videos. The way you explain it’s clear and i love your honesty. I’ll try the shampoo for volume. Btw what do you think about Olaplex brand ?
I came to look for reviews on L’Oréal Volume Envy Extra but saw you talking about Rebel but they way you describe it, it sounds the same as what I’ve heard about Volume Envy. What’s the difference and which would you recommend for thin, limp dry hair? I’m looking for volume, movement and bounce!
Thank you so much for the suggestions! I've been using the Kerastase shampoo for fine hair and my hair already looks great. I have a question, since I'm going to order a Kerastase or Moroccanoil mousse soon. I am confused on the order of application of hair products. Let's say, for example, that I apply the Moroccanoil volumizing mousse. When am I supposed to apply the heat protector? (I use the Kerastase ciment thermique) Before or after the mousse? Thank you in advance.
My hair is very oily I was my hair one day and the next day it’s oily so I have to wash again ! And I need volume and density a lot so I’m gonna try something like this maybe Walmart or target ? Or no ?
Hi Mike ☺️ is the bain volumfique shampoo still nourishing..? Will it dry out the hair..? And is it okay for everyday use? I have pretty thick hair and looking for an everyday shampoo from kerastase which one would you recommend..?
I do have fine hair without volume and thickness which is also quite dry and damaged from former colorations - should I use the Densifique Line or the new Chroma Absolu? I do also have some hairloss which is not too bad but still there
Hello, for a male looking to increase thickness and volume in hair, would you still recommend the densifique range over the new men's genesis range? I' have been using the new men's genesis recently and found my hair feels super fine. thank you.
Very good video! Do you have any recommendations for heat protectant sprays for thin hair? I'm having a hard time finding a good one that is meant for thin hair and will not weigh the hair down.
I have the weirdest hair and I allways buy the wrong products. My hairtype: It's fine hair. But I also have lots and lots of hair that feels wobly if I feel it between my fingers. It's high porosity and therefore dry. I'd like to have fuller, thicker hair that doesn't feel dry. I wear my hair short (max. 10cm) Can anyone give me some avdvice which products I should use? My apologies if it's weirdly written. English is not my main language.
I'm really lacking volume, that is my main concern with my hair, but I also have quite dry bleached ends. I'm a bit scared of only using the Volumifique series, that my ends might get dryer. What would you recommend? Thank you so much for what you're doing, I´m religiously watching all your videos!
i got told get the densifique conditioner with the volumifique shampoo, would this be wise since the condtioner adds hydration? idk cuz my hair kinda naturally has body/volume but i dont wash it but i use horrible shampoo so i wanted to find one so when i wash it it has volume,it manages the oil in my hair, keeps my hair healthy and my scalp healthy so doen the line when im like old lmao i have healthy hair
hi!I really dont know what shampoo or conditioner I should use...my hair is normal to dry, kind of fine and I also want something that doesn't weigh my hair, but that moisturize it.I ve heard about SheaMoisture,Maui,OGX and others but I am not sure about using them...Can you recommend me some products?
I have fine thinning hair and trying to find something that works for me is a pain. I ordered Kerastase after your review on it. Waiting for the order to come in. I hope it works for me. Would you review Bumble & Bumble and ThickTails? Thank you!
@@taniawalsh1876 it’s ok. Not earth shattering. I will not reorder. I found other products since that I like much better: label.m. There is a shampoo and conditioner and a thickening cream that works well for my hair type. I will continue with that. Best I found.
Hello, would you say the Kérastase bain densité is better or from L’Oreal the Expert pro longer shampoo? I am not sure wich shampoo I schould deliver. Ragards from Germany 😊
Mike I had to take out my own extensions and my hair is ruined now.. It was already fine and thin now its broken and so so thin.. It needs a few months rehad... Advice pla🙏🙏
Hey Sarah thats a very common issue with extensions. How damaged the hair is beside the broken hair from extensions? Look at the resistance range from Kerastase or the Pro Longer from Serie Expert
I use Aveeno blackberry quinoa heat-protectant spray and it has the consistency of water - weightless, no buildup and smells delicious. It has no silicones (which type 1a hair should avoid).
Hi mike! My hair is very thin and fine. It lacks both density and volume. My scalp becomes oily by the second day of shampooing and i also have a bit of dandruff and hair fall issue. It would be helpful if you could recommend which kerastase line will suit my hair.
Hey Shakambri I think you should look after the scalp 1st. Use instant clear from serie expert for dandruff paired with the fontand density . Once the dandruff goes away use Bain Density
Too bad Kerastase discontinued the Volumifique spray from the green Volumifique range you mentioned, it was so brilliant, such great effect for my hair. Why would the do that? Beats me.
I bought this Marrocan oil mouse . This is just terrible! This product does not feel light it makes my hair dry crunchy and I just want to wash it off! Overhyped and overpriced I m going to return it. I bought it because You tube praised it so much. They get paid for it. Don't waste you money. It only gives this weird dry feeling and hardly any volume ! Rip off
