I fully agree - it's the best, unless you want a case that stays on when you shoot too. The advantage of this one is that there is no stress at all on the gimbal or screen when you fit it on. The downside is that there's nowhere to put the mic or wide angle lens.

I agree ts about preserving the screen and gimbal. I just like the minimal appeal which keeps the pocket 3 slim.

@1:26 that rattling noise is coming from the OSMO Pocket 3 Gimbal Assembly itself, and it is a normal sound. The Pocket 3 has a gimbal design which is set somewhat differently from the OSMO Pocket 1 and 2. New Feature Requests for the New DJI OSMO Pocket 3 1. Add a dwelling time for each of up to four settable movement positions in Motion Time-Lapse Mode. As each of the four settable positions programmed into a motion time-lapse sequence is reached, the end user could set from 1 to 10 seconds of a pause in gimbal movement as each programmed position is reached during the sequence before the gimbal moves forward to the next programmed position. This would yield a much more dynamic and professional looking, smoother motion time-lapse sequence. 2. In Motion Time-Lapse Mode the ability to set movement ease in and ease out settings from 0.5 to 3 seconds for each programmable gimbal position before gimbal movement normal progression rate is reached. 3. True 24.00p filming speed. 4. The ability to set time-lapse sequences based on 24.00p. 5. The ability to be able to record from the DJI Mic 2 and from a plugged in via USB audio source at the same time. 6. Adding a 10 Bit 4:2:2 recordable video codec. 7. Please add zoom capability when shooting in all time-lapse modes.

Does it scratch the neck of the gimbal?

So far I haven't experienced any scratches on the neck, gimbal nor around the screen. Its a daily use on my pocket 3. Hope you have a great day.

Since the power is exposed, does the gimbal try to move with the cover on if turned on by mistake?

The gimbal goes into a protection mode. It has happened several times already. So far its my only con. Hopefully in a new version they extend the screen protector to cover the power button. Im searching for a solution or contacting SunnyLife.

What about the wide lens, is there a place for it?

Unfortunately the wide angle lens from dji didn't fit. I am currently using a k&f concept nano x black mist filters and that fits.

Yes. As long as the magnetic filter is slim and the gimbal locks in place you can. Will hold one. Unfortunately the official wide angle lens from DJI won't fit with the protective cover. Hope that helps. Have a great day.

Add the extension case from Sunny Life and you'll have the full body protection and gopro mount

Thank you! I was going in that direction but instead I ordered a silicone protective cover for all the items that came in the creator combo. So once it arrives I will upload the set up. Again thank you for the comment. Hope you have a great day

Not sure I see the point of this over the standard protector from DJI. Have you see the case from Scotty Makes Stuff?
