I’d recommend the turtle beach stealth 700 they have less cushioning right where the arms of your glasses sit. They also have a flip up mic . I wear glasses and they are super comfortable and the mic and audio quality is superb.
i had kraken tournament edition, then i got a new pair of sennheiser gsp 350, same price range. All i can say is the sennheiser is much better then kraken in terms of audio quality, 5.1, not so much comfort, i felt the kraken easier and comfortable, but for the audio part, there is no way kraken has n.1
Which headsets can differentiate whether a sound is coming from above or below you? It's so hard to find that answer for every headset online. I've been researching endlessly! Halp!!
I recommend sony gold . I got the white one and am happy with the price, performance, and battery life , ull just need to rest after using it for 3 hours (my exp) , which is not bad imo
Okay so I'm unsure why this video is 2 years old if it says 2022, regardless I have a few questions I'm hoping I can have answered here. So here goes: #1. I've been doing some research, and it seems that the only headset really capable of taking full advantage of the ps4's audio capabilities are the ones from Sony ie. The ones you mentioned in you video like the Sony Platinum/Gold. I'm referring to the whole 3D audio(Only the Platinum can use this) & the 7.1 virtual surround sound thing available on ps4. Is this really the case? Because if so, then we really aren't left with much of a choice then because and other products will never be able to use these features. #2. I was looking at the Asus ROG Theta 7.1 headset, it seems to be a very well rounded TRUE 7.1 surround sound headset with 4 individual drivers/speakers in each ear, good build quality and won't break the bank. This headset has a feature to switch between full surround sound and just a normal 2.0 channel. Apparently this headset does not even work on full surround sound with the ps4, you have to switch it to the 2.0 setting, which means no true 7.1 surround sound. So will we even be able to use a headset with multiple drivers in each ear with the ps4 to get the full effect of true 7.1 surround sound? #3. If one was to look into something like the Asus ROG Theta with true 7.1 surround sound, will it even work on the ps5? Because I might bite the bullet and get a true 7.1 headset, if it will work on the ps5, as I might upgrade in a couple of months, so it would be pointless to buy the Sony Platinum Headset just for the ps4, if something like the Asus ROG Theta will work properly on the ps5. I've spent a couple of hours back and forth on Google and youtube. Maybe I'm just not finding the right threads, or using wrong key words but as far as I understand, you are very limited to choices when it comes to utilizing all the audio features. From what I could gather, the only headset that can use the full extent of what the ps4/5 have to offer is going to be the Sony Platinum headset. The Sony Platinum does not have true 7.1 because it only has 1 big driver per ear so its physically impossible for it to produce true 7.1 surround sound. Sooo .... at the end of the day, I would just like to know .... will we even be able to enjoy true 7.1 surround sound on a ps4 or ps5?
Finally looking into owning my own ELITE headset instead of sharing with my brother lol. Thanks for making this list; really helped me out on my search. (batman!!)
I bought 2 turtle beach 70p recon two different colors (black and white) and eventually both prevented me from communicating to others. I could hear them and everything else, but they couldn't hear me. Not sure what happened I bought the second pair for this reason and figured they were affordable enough to give a second shot, but since the other did the same thing the last one did, it just wasn't worth it. We own two playstation 4 so, incase you're wondering "maybe they're just ignoring her" that wasn't the case. They both worked perfectly fine AT FIRST. 😒 Maybe others had better experiences, mine wasn't that great though.
Do you have any suggestions on what headsets to use if i were to record or save clips on my ps4. When I do it now and go back to look at it, I can hear my ps4 sounding like a jet about to take off in the background. Any help would be appreciated
See if you can go to mic settings and turn down the mic sensitivity, you might need to talk louder but hold the PS button on the controller and the side menu that comes up should have an audio tab.
The hidden word was Batman, great video keep up the good work and really hope to win one the headsets because I don't have and I am in desperate need of one, thanks
Yo man quick tip:if you buy the Nari, PLEEAASSEE turn off haptic feedback. It may let you get immersed, BUT it distracts you when trying to hear footsteps and people outside of buildings.
I’m trying to find a good headset- based on surround sound, for consoles. I was going to get the Arctis 5, however learned that the 7.1 surround sound does not work on the PS4. ;-; I be sad. Just cancelled my order.
The PlayStation 3 pulse if you can find it and Primo condition you should buy it for the PlayStation 4. It's very well made gives you 7.1 surrounding. Excellent!
My man ther is NO surround sound in ps4 ,and if you want a “surround” sound headset the only thing that is close is high end headsets like 300 dollars or something, and of course you need an amp .
@@x3no913 their is definitely surround sound on ps4 I don't know what you're talking about turtle beach have mostly surround I've noticed this in all my games especially foot steps
I had three Turtle beach headsets on the years. The recent one I bought was the elite pro 2, not even six months, I cant hear on one side. The sound came back but a week later the mic just stop working so I bought a replacement. Three days later the headset snap..............................😐
I bought a Turtle Beach Stealth 700 thinking it would be better then my old one who broke in half after 6 years. It's easier to connect and use, but that's about the only positive thing i have to say about it. The surround is absolutely terrible compared to my old PX4, i can't even tell if someone is below, above or behind me anymore. Anyone know a good headset with good surround effect that actually uses it for somewhat competitive gaming on PS4? Because that 'superhuman hearing' crap is actually useless if the surround in itself doesn't work good.
@@StickyGeko The first one i got i couldn't mute the mic, i had to get a new one from the store also after Turtle Beach tech support. Don't know what that company has been up to, i used to love it, but seems they went downhill quite a bit.
I very highly recommend hyperx cloud revolver S, the surround sound actually works - the sound profiles if you use them are quite nice but the best thing about them is they separate sounds flawlessly. Currently playing alot of Cod Warzone and even with shooting/explosions going on can clearly hear footsteps of someone running up on a flank etc etc
I love my px4 but as of the past 6 months or so the game audio cuts out then comes back is there a fix or if not what's the best wireless for up to £100
I’m looking for a good cheap headset around $60 but I’m stuck at the moment with getting either the HyperX stinger or the Razer kraken any body know any better ones ? Maybe lol
Do not get the stealth 700. Yes it is really good but it's battery life sucks and quickly degenerates. I also had many problems with it cutting in and out
I need a good head set I’m getting tired of a50 and I’m curious too know if a high end wired is better than high end wireless someone @ me on comment please
