A well done guide for newbies with PGR this year.. 2024. A suggestion to be even more newbie friendly, as one of PGR's hardcore f2p vets, try adding some visual overlays besides the text/outlines and use footage of your account....checking it in the game itself. Going for a side by side of your outlines corresponding to that aspect of the UI. It may be much effort but it really streamlines and it makes it easy to digest your guide videos.
Little tip at 5:57 start with either nanami or selena then double tap dodge button to close the gap and switch in with crimson weave then unga bunga boss dead😊
Funny story about my first account in PGR: I butchered it, thankfully it only have a single week of playtime, so I was able to reset, which is why my main account name have the Title ALTER with it. But honestly, your best bet at starting out in PGR is learning which material does what, and then save up for 1 META character, seriously you only need 1 to get going, after that its a snowball effect of oulling 1 meta character for each team to hypercarry. I'm not talking about just pulling those META characters I'm telling you to used all those hoarded materials you've been holding on, to SS them with the paincage fragments which cost 500 skulls to SS a single S rank character, use those red cards from the warzone shop to get their Resonance right, and then hypertune all of their bottom rows to maximize your damage output, but it is preferrable to fully hypertune your hypercarries, as well as pulling for their signature weapons. A properly F2p friendly fully upgraded S rank character would be at 7k+ BP. This is exactly what I did, also plan your pulls, cuz what I did is essentially buy 3 monthly pass to hoard like 30k+ BC to pull Vera S, then did exactly what I described above, so basically Vera have been Hypercarrying me for a year or so, then since I like hoarding and planning my pullls, I essentially completed all 5 teams with each one having a single meta that is minmaxed to hypercarry. My pull and minmax list essentially is this: Vera S 7k Roland 6.5 Nanamech 7k Haicma 7k Balter 7k Lee Firegod 7k Ayla 7k Alpha 7k No.21 7k Alisa 7k Lamia 7k Qu 7k Luna 7k Yor Forger 7k and I also invested with most of my A ranks, making them SSS+ reaching at 7k+BP making them good support and subdps for my hypercarries. And as of currently with proper resource management and not missing a single daily or event, I currently have like 70k Tickets worth of pulls, 60k+ BC and less than 10k worth of premium tickets. Plus we do get free characters that are so easy to Minmax just like Alisa Echo, I literally spend my BC only on her weapon pull which costs me 7.5k BC, and each patch is guaranteed to give you 10k worth of tickets. As long as you act like MINMAXLOOTGOBLIN you'll be having a good time with this game, PGR is a marathon not a sprint, you'll get to the endgame given time, plus the game is really time friendly, each patch content can be cleared in a single sitting, so really what you're going to be doing most of the time is just log in for 30 minutes do your weeklies and dailies, maybe extend your playtime for an hour if your clearing some endgame contents like Stronghold. PGR is a game that respects your time which is perfect for your routine.
I am so glad I found this video before I decided to play PGR bc oh how god knows that I will definitely make so much mistakes that I will definitely will regret in the future. (I'm watching this while PGR is still downloading on my Pc) Though I'm saving this bc I have adhd and can get distracted very easily, and when I mean easily I will most definitely will get distracted by the dumbest things😂
Stopped playing other gacha games (e7, 7dsgc, wotv, etc.) to learn this game. I was about to quit but got feral first event summon. Now I'm getting faster clears and a loooot has been unlocked. I got Karenina from member target guaranteed S and took Nanami on the first S selector. and took Rigor on the guide selector. The elements on my team is all over. Should I reroll I wanted that light tank.. as of now, I'm on stage 4, trying to get to 5-7.
What would happen if I make a team of different energy characters ? I didn't know we have to make a team according to energy type. I pull out whatever character I liked. And now I cannot complete even 1 full 1 team of same energy.
Then its just a mix. They won't deal as much damage. Some bosses are weak to specific elements and resist certain elements. Having a specific element team can make a big difference since certain characters can buff elements
same situation but i didn't care that much as long as it's good enough to do the job done, but still struggling in other game modes that needs specific element to do better
DEAR LORD this is what I can’t stand about gacha games. So much information! And even tho you did your best to include the most important topics in this video I’m pretty sure there is probably still much more to learn about this game.
@@guardiansoulblade2673 true man, PGR lore potential is peak, hoping for story presentation changes though, we getting benefits from WuWa's performance after all
its a slow ass grind, took me an entire year to get suboptimal team set ups going, and it includes saving up for months to pull certain meta characters and minmax them. But in all honesty you only need 1 GOOD SS rank Meta with full hypertune for each team and your set. That's literally my team set up for a year, each team having a hypercarry character while the rest are just support or subdps roles.
I know its an old video but im curious is the story any good? This game has been on my playlist for awhile but i just never got around to it. Also is there any fanservice in the game specifically for the waifus? And is the characters interactable like do they have individual stories sorta like snowbreak does for each of the characters? Or are the characters just sorta "there"
They all have stories. If I gonna be more specifis then there 'Interludes' aka Past of the Characters, And stories that you can read after you level up your relationships of Characters through gifts. The Main Story of this game is Amazing in my opinion, BUT... It`s firstly building up it`s Story, And starts from being somewhat decent to chapter like... 8? Maybe 9 for some, to Phenomenal in 11 chapter!!! (I`m not played all of the story yet obviously, I`m new player too after all. I still HIGHLY recommed this game atleast for Gameplay if you not interested in the Story much.)
@@mr.d-undertale4028 ah okay fanservice is a pretty big deal to me I know it's not for everyone but I typically don't play the more "safe" gachas I like a little more spice. It's not necessarily a deal breaker but if the characters are extremely bland to my tastes I don't see much reason to pull for them and it can dampen my fun with a gacha. Good gameplay doesn't mean too much to me personally. I can tolerate even relatively poor gameplay for a really gripping story with attractive or interesting characters. So the story is a slow burn that takes a long time to build up Oh so each character has relationships to level up so then it is like snowbreak containment zone in that regard. I might give it a try hopefully the gameplay isn't super challenging for a newbie I've heard some people mention it's complicated to master.
@@brendonbewersdorf986 It`s not that hard too understand. But it IS hard to master. If you more of a Story person, Then this game is Great in that regard! (Also my personal little advices, 1-th I don`t recommend using Serum (Aka Energy) for Resources Stages, They better be used on main story in the beginning then for the event after 9 chapter or so. Also you should get shards for the characters in the resource stage if you need them, but you can only get shards of the characters you have and only to A rank. 2-nd don`t waste your Black cards for A ranks baner. You should save them for an upcoming S ranks or characters that you need/want.)
there are two shops in "shop," the first is the main and the second is the voucher one, if you still can't find it maybe you need to reach a certain level but I'm not sure you need to
