Im a casual player but can you try soul servant send pharaonic advent to grave. Send two traps/spells to grave that being magic defense to revive pharaonic advent. either have dugares revive him, magic defense or play chaos phantasm to copy him and use itself as fodder. Then take tyrant throes and use navi to revive 2 dark magicians to lock opponent.. it aint competitive but maybe you can create or add cards that it might.. its fun to lock them and have eternal soul to revive dark magicians and link ladder to tenyi.. add in apophis to negate and have extra normal monster.. add in magical hats to create 2 normal summons for tyrant throes while sending traps like navi, magic defense etc to grave and revive dark magician and lock opponent.. its stylish and fun for content but it aint competitive 😂 add one aremasir adventure cont spell is fun too. Or shadow light magician soul to summon effect veiler to sychro summon formula and get a draw.. with magicians rod negated you can still synchro summon into junk speeder.. deck dont have much space but its nice to pull out 5 synchrons tuner and create something thinking your DM deck is done.

@@godsmithofchaos luckily most of the kids already play, and between me and another sponsor we can simplify it a bit for them, we also act as judges to help explain interactions. Also we start off simple with nothing more than fusions for the really new players. And then work our way up.

@@godsmithofchaos it makes teaching a lot easier, plus starting with normal monsters to get the idea of tributes, then adding simple effect monsters, etc. you just build them up piece by piece.

@@godsmithofchaos the best thing about it is it can be used as fodder for your magicians souls effect and can be searched even from the gy with soul servant and with the dark magicians fusion you can set servant and activate it to search expanded and set and use it during your opponents turn making your side of the field immune to all your opponents effects or just stopping them from feather dusting your back row. it is also good mid game when they ash your rod, just chain expanded allowing your rod to search and turning it into a 2600 beatstick and allowing you to save your called by the grave to use against their other gy effect monsters like banishing their rod in a mirror match.

True enough. I still find it difficult to use. Since it takes a bunch of set up to get what you’re wanting from it. I wish it was more relevant. I used it when I started back into the game again. Just over a year ago.

I 100% agree with you on that. Like why are they doing DM so dirty like that. BLEWD got upgraded and even Won worlds. We have a couple Generic “Dark” Spellcaster XYZ Monsters. But, we need updated support that is actually DM archetype. That isn’t splashable with every other deck.

You totally could. Take out Solemn Judgement, and/or Deck Lockdown and replace them with the current best handtraps. I would make my SD whatever my locals has going on. It depends on what most people play at your locals, cause each might be different depending on duelists

Dude i found out one OP card for DM.

Dude i found a card that can search any card that compliments this deck.. “top share”.. combo it with magician soul, soul servant, chicken game, upstart goblin, dark magicians, or anything that lets you draw.. dark magical circle also help position tyrant throes on top for you to draw.. the only drawback is that your opponent also searches a card and put it on top of his deck and on top of that he can see your card first and search for the out.. but goodnews is if you have the counter to his out then you can proceed.. we have negates for spells or traps anyway.. navi, apophis, solemn judgement.. and if we have throes already set we can search for village instead he wont be able to use spells since he can only set cards.. so even if its a spellcaster its not yet treated as spellcaster.. or if we have a card that reshuffle his deck or remove the top of his deck to the grave or banish it.. kashtira??

With triple threat thrust.. we can search for top share too.. or if we have top share already and we have triple threat thrust or heavenly prison we can search for the out for his out (counter to whatever he picks). And if its second turn we can get the card that we need. Triple tactics thrust only searches for spells or trap.. this can search monsters as well.. seems like its OP.. its like sarcophagus but better since you can get it easily in dark magician deck..

There’s 2 ways. Secrets can Ritual or Fusion. Timaeus effect is to fusion summon like polymerization 💪🏽🧙🏽‍♂️👍🏽

If going second deck, those 2 cards in combo are great 👍🏽

Only problem I got is chaos angel since you need a tuner monster to synchro summon it.

Rod or any Dark/Light monster can be used as Tuner. Rod + DM or Mahad if you use Mahad. 💪🏽🧙🏽‍♂️
