Greetings! And thank you for your reaction to NMIXX! Since you asked, I'll give a quick mention to say that the Wizard of Oz references are meant to represent "Wisdom (scarecrow), Love (tin man) and Courage (lion)" and since NMIXX have some sort of lore going on within their MV and other content, they said they wanted to tie in Wizrd of Oz imagery to more easily convey their lore. It was recently used in a "Story Concept" video they released a few weeks ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lPBWxOEDeT0.html. Have a great day!

Very few reactors found the hidden Wizard of Oz references in the video, including the dog doing dual duty as toto and the cowardly lion. Well done for actually picking that up. Thumbs up for you and Nmixx. WE have yet to figure out how the quality literature fits in to JYPE groups songs these days, but both NMIXX and ITZY's previous songs used Alice In Wonderland themes (the books not the animation). Now NMIXX uses Wizard of OZ. Lily has a RU-vid series called Lily's lost the plot where she discusses books or movies with fans. Its her book and movie club with the fandom (similar to how Bang Chan has Chan's room for Stray Kids). But unlike what other companies are doing with making new fantasy lore unique to them. It seems JYPE is encouraging fans to pick up existing high-quality stories from great authors and re-read or re-engage with them. Let's see where it goes.

Nah the meaning of the song just isn't that deep. It's a message to fans, potential fans or just people in general to accept them they way they are. Love me as I am. If you accept me as I am, if you love me like this(how I am) , I will love you back. Simple.
