*I bought these and used them at the river where I get snags often they have done a **enjoyable.fishing** recommend great job of not breaking along with some strong line I purchased as well. They are super durable and easy to use.*
Love your videos and how you always include Texas in all your videos. Because of 1fish2fish i was able to hook up to my first bullred, but i think the hook tore out of his mouth. Anyway, on the fish finder rig, what hook would you recommend? I use a 5000 series reel on a 7f 1oz- 8 oz rod with 30 Lb line. My main place to fish is In the Jetties. When i hooked up to that bullred the other day i was using a high-low rig and didn't even notice him on. this being said my wife hooked him.. Sad day in a man's life.
Those set ups are great for smaller redfish. what size hook are you using for the 30 -40 l bull reds? Where I fish in Texas I almost never catch a red in the slot . they are over size and I find that the smaller #2 hooks do not work well. I am using a half of a large blue crab for bait. The hooks I am using are not that great either and I need something better.
What pound test for my main line should I use if my reel holds from 15/335, 20/275, and 30/205 braid? I have a Penn Sargus 4000 5+1 stainless steel bearing system with a Gear ratio 6:2:1?
