Compare the way dressed when she was first discovered. There is a slight leaning to male clothing. I believe this is being pushed by her handlers. I see this with other Reggae/Dancehall artists. Look at the people around them and who are photographing and directing the.

I don’t need to hate. I have been a musician over 30 years and I master 12 different instruments including brass, strings and skins. I’ve travelled a lot with bands but never saw it as a profession. I saw it as a wealth of experience and enough to have an ear to appreciate good music. My friend, music is way deeper than noise. I do respect that there are many different cultures and musical talents and this, I believe, can be transformed differently from the ears of each listener. However, over the years, reggae has taken over the world as an international rhythm. There are many reggae artists that earned great respect for their talent. But look at what reggae has become lately. I cannot appreciate this kind of music at all. There is nothing in it that endorse the meaning of music. Noise, rumble and dance. Not music. Sorry….

@@jasonstocks6460… I'm from the Studio One, Treasure Isle era, what I found was that the one drop old time reggae was getting stale, even me who use to enjoy those music immensely, was not enjoying them anymore,, but here comes Koffee with an eclectic mix, and here I am again enjoying Jamaican music, look like you can play only one drop two string bassline reggae, so your time has pass yu need to hang up your instrument..

@@jasonstocks6460 You do not achieve mastery/greatness overnight. All the great artistes spent many years honing their craft. The problem is that people are comparing this young woman to the greats instead of allowing her grow into her talent. She has not yet become, rather she is becoming. Also, music is evolving. It is a travesty to be stuck in the past. There will never be another Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and the like. Can this generation just be the best they can be for this generation, instead of being compared to the past. Just like technology has evolved, so has music and so many other art forms.
