This lure fishing rod is great for any soft plastic presentation: dropshot, Texas-rig, Carolina rig, Jika-rig, jigs and so on. It's super sensitive and has lots of power in the bottom part of the rod. Quality components from Fuji and Toray has been used too.

Me too, looking for a longer rod with lower casting weight. The Tsurinoya elf Ajing is hard to find now.

Thanks for the excellent video. So, is the rod capable of all finesse techniques (ned rig, drop shot, C&T rigs, etc) or only for some specific techniques?

I think that's some marketing tactics when companies say a rod is specifically for dropshot etc. I use all techniques on my rods👍

Hey Andrew, do you wish the butt section was maybe 2 inches shorter and there would be an additional 2 inches above the reel seat? I think people dont consider the handle length much in that regard when looking for a longer rod. I understsnd the combo needs to be well balanced but I think this is an interesting topic.

@@AndrewsKnots after getting the rod making the butt shorter would hurt the balance even more. I agree the butt is the right length. It is a bit tip heavy though but then again I'm using the 119g reel.

I really like this rod, but would you recommend this to topwater fishing as well for ASP (2-3kg avarage weights of aspius)? If not, which purelure rod would you recommend than? Lure weight approx 2-14g?

I wouldn't as this is a soft plastics rod with solid tip.

Nice video, good fishing and a quality rod - I use it myself for all kinds of rods. But why do you keep the fish in the net if you release them anyhow? Putting them back quickly reduces stress and will ensure that most survive the C&R. No hate, just a recommendation that's backed by scientific literature. Keep up the good work!

Both good. Purelure better quality and very stiff.

I'm just making an observation because I had a bad experience buying an AE rod that was sold in the US on amazon. It was a light power rod and the butt section was way too long. The rod was balanced the long butt section made it unusable. I'm getting the same vibes from this Zero rod. Lucky amazon allowed me to return the rod.

Wrong vibes as I have not had a misjudged reelseat placement on any of Purelure rods. There are distances for each model provided within the rods listings too.
