One note on lucky hit chance. Don't get hung up on a specific proc on one piece of gear you just need them all. Doesn't matter as long as you get all the procs freeze stun daze etc.
I'm so sick of him taking other people's builds and not giving any credit. This is a build that EfficientRogue put out 3 weeks ago. He thought that nobody would notice.
Who cares? You think just because somebody came up a build in a Diablo game means somebody else couldn't have come up with the same thing without being aware? Grow up.
I’m so sick of people thinking steamers are the only ones making these builds. Their are better people who don’t stream who do all this all on their own. The true credit never gets to the right person.
I would agree, but whoever you mention did not make this. This build is older. Uszally you do kot know who to credit. For example few years back in LoL i made builds and strategies that became so meta they made it to professional leagues some even had to be patched. No one even knows. :) but this was not even made by the guy you mentioned...
I have watched other videos about a Heartseeker build, and you are the most logical and systematic. I greatly appreciate your mental efficiency. Great video! 👍👍👍👍👍
@@P4wnyhof I got news for you! I was doing Tier 92 Nightmare Dungeons using your build at level 98! I will reach Tier 100 for the first time since I've been playing Diablo 4. Thank you for your video! All of a sudden, I'm confident I will do well in the Pit as well as I just breezed through Tier 52 of the Pit. Thanks, man!
Just noticed that it's taking you 9 nodes to get from Exploit Weakness board to No witness board to the left. If you rotate and move No Witness to the right of the Deadly ambush board, you'll pick up an extra point. As a bonus, it gives nice 5pt path to 2 life nodes and the poison/life node.
@llldaslll1590 you are saying it’s taking 9 nodes to get to no witness, but I think you failed to account for the fact he needs the dexterity nodes in the exploit weakness board to boost his glyph. So if you count from his last point in the dex node to get to no witness, then he is actually only 6 nodes away from the board
I’ve done so many helltides, pits and all glyphs to 21 and 11 - still no amulet with exploit, frigid or malice 💀 I’m at an impasse where the only way to improve my build is going to require better rng, and it hasn’t been for any of the items: bow, daggers, rings etc etc
@@P4wnyhof I did trades for my Barb but I cannot compete with Chinese billionaires on Diablo Trade - anything beyond 1GA enters billionaire territory. If it’s best in slot 1GA Exploit plus regular frigid I saw going 12B plus yesterday, I cannot compete with RMT Hong Kong dupe farm, IGGM and whatever this AOEH one that keeps getting posted on crossplay chat without regulation or scrutiny. 100M >>> 1USD 💀
@@ImmolationBloom agreed. I have only seen 1 exploit which I’m running item power 925 but it’s only +1. It’s quite sad. I also use all books on amulet.
Thanks! I just redid my paragon boards to match your latest and my damage and life are up very significantly. I just need to practice to get the skill usage right and look for some upgrades to my gear that have crit chance.
The Vampiric Curse souls that explode are definitely fun to play as you are leveling up too. I wish you could do the same damage with that aspect as the Inner Calm.
Actually, Bash Barb is the best class to solo everything. The survivability and DPS of Barb is untouchable this season. My minion necro and heartseeker rogue are just behind. My sorcerer isn’t even playing in the same league and just dies if anyone even sneezes towards her. Didn’t bother maxing out a Druid this season, as that class desperately needs buffs.
Yup! Bash barb destroys everything. BUT I think the playstyle of Heartseeker is the most fun. Sork is wet toilet paper. While Wind Shear Druid doesn't perform nearly as well as Barb and Rogue, it's actually fun to play and poison melt everything - especially in corridors. Shadow Mage necro is a ton of fun, too.
@@MrPwhite1985 I don't think RU-vid will let me post a URL, but if you search the Internet for "Rob's Bash Barb (S4)" you should be able to find it on d4builds. I took the "boss killer" variant of that build as my starting basis and tweaked it. You may use it with either Call of the Ancients or three shouts, either works great. It works very well without any unique items, but if you happen to find some key uniques, it gets even stronger. I started with CotA and then switched to three shouts. I admittedly found some good gear including a Shako from Duriel and a Paingorger's with three GAs, and had good luck with temper rolls (although bricked plenty of good items in the process), then managed to masterwork everything to 9/12, with my uniques and main weapon to 12/12. I can speed farm pit 120 and T100 NMDs are a walk in the park, I mow down the mobs like it was a regular dungeon. With almost 100K HP unbuffed, I can pop a profane mindcage and just stand AFK in the middle of any Helltide event in WT4 and nothing can kill me, mobs just get stunned and die as they attack me from my thorns damage. It's hilarious. My heartseeker rogue and minions necro are also strong and have nearly BiS gear, but I can feel their damage output is much less against bosses with lots of HP, such as in pit 100+. I still enjoy speed farming helltides with my rogue, but I can kill Tormented Duriel within 5-10 seconds with my bash barb depending on how lucky I get with crit RNG, no buffs, no elixirs, no incense. There's just no comparison. All three of my characters have all of their glyphs at level 21, too, so I tried to give each class and build a fair shake. I am struggling with my sorcerer this season, because even though I tried to make her as tanky as a sorcerer can, she still gets one-shotted far too often. Her damage output is also low compared to my other characters.
I've noticed that a lot of the Heartseeker build planners (including yours) have cutthroat damage tempers instead of vuln damage now. This seems to have changed in the last few days. Is this a mobalytics bug or am I missing something?
You took off the advanced shadow step increases critical strike chance. You took off those and the cooldowns for step and dash. Im guessing you find the damage reductions from rugged and defense more important.
If you setup your paragon board different you can achieve max res without any resistance rolls on your gear (no diminish either). All 5 are exactly at 70 right now. It was at 69 but once your masterwork shako so your all stat is at 41, you are good. In the world of greater affixes and masterworking, losing two rolls is really costly
My favorite Rogue build this season is by far the bash barb, that said i did need to roll a rogue for the crit temper so I guess it has that going for it.
Bash barb - finished my barb to 100 today - maxed Armor & res, 4.2k crit damage with Shako & Gransfather. Still Shit, i outdamage that mf with my rogue by fae
@@christophgerwens8996 Rogue literally does billions less damage than bash barb does right now, and is like 10 pits behind. If your stats are what you claim you need to start pressing the buttons in the correct order (as it literally makes all the difference to how much damage you do)
@@DeanMurphyCDM That is a valid reason, trying to say rogue is "better" than barb for any reason other than you enjoy the playstyle is objectively false this season however.
Kleiner Tip ...
I had a Shako drop the other day in my necro, so I decided to masterworked it fully and immediately rolled a rogue. I'm already lvl 90 and slaying everything with ease with this build. I hate to say it, but I'm enjoying this more than my necro right now. I feel sick!
Unlocked world tier 4 at lv 40, jumped straight into nightmare 45's with the same gear, this build is insane, as soon as grabbed the first ancients and reworked them everything was trivial by lv55, also got lucky and have a 925 harlequins, just put it on at 57 and well, im looking forward to having glyphs lol
Awesome guide! I'm not tryin to be a killjoy or anything, but Bash Barb destroys Uber Lilith in seconds, and is by far the best class/build in the current game. Just sayin.
I really struggled with this build until I tried Frostburn. That made a big difference. It's just a 22% value but almost everything just freezes on screen and it seems to have helped with making umbrous procs more consistent. Without it I'm always either out or 1/2 dark shrouds. With it I'm usually 5. I don't miss retribution that much.
Nice one man. I love your incisiveness in the dodge aspect. When I tried it first time it was like "Yeah, this is it". Now, I'm trying to tweak the paragon pages. Right now I'm using Leyrana's Instinct instead of the Deadly ambush for the traps aaaand... I have to say that I like that page a freaking lot IF you exploit dodge chance over 50 and want to reinforce the base damage. The attack speed and flat damage runes that it has are a nice cherry on top.
Just so you know, you absolutely DO lose the inner calm standing still buff even if you just dash, shadow step, or use ANY movement skill. Using a movement skill counts as movement and cancels the buff.
If they nerf this build it will be a crime, probably the best build I've played to date in terms of enjoyment. Have you tried shadow clone for more damage+unstoppable?
@@artemkoropotkin3047 yes but this is the plan, that's why it is powerful, if you remove that it will be a C tier build that no one will play. How is removing one of the most fun builds in the game helping the game? There are other powerful builds in the game, and more powerful, maybe we shold nerf them all?
@@lordad nerfing this build will be a mistake. It is a very enjoyable build to play, which is the goal of the game. And whether it is a but is a matter of iterprentation. Maybe that's how victimize should work. Barbarian is stupidly overpowered consistently, should they berf it? Nerfing everything fun is not good for the game. It's a powerful build, but not a game breaking build like ball lightning was in season 2 which did 10 times more damage than intended.
went with blizzard sorc... got up to 100, masterworks to around 6/7, got bored. regret rolling sorc now, came back after quitting season 0 ... definitely leveling a rogue and barb to 100, sooooo much better!
I'm following your build and got most of the gear looking identical to your mobalytics page, great build btw. My only question is where are you getting your resists from? if I ran all diamonds on my jewelry all my resists would be sitting around 54%.
I play instead Shadow Clone and not Concealment. Is Concealment useful because i watch builds like this and they do not really use Concealment. What's the opinions there?
Ya i don't understand.. Shadow clone has unstoppable? I also use a bit of Ult cooldown throughout my build and often have clone up. I feel like the damage uptime compared to a build with concealement is noticeable!@buythedip5300
Watching these build videos makes my head hurt. Once we get to the gear stuff i get lost. I just started playing Diablo 4 again last night after quite a long hiatus. I had a buddy power level me last from 1 to 56 in a couple hours and i have tons of gear to go through. Hopefully out of all that i can throw something descent together. Thanks
@P4wnyhof I kept to your script and its absolutly insane. Friend of mine plays another variant and I have to say this one slays ^^ thanks for the build. 85 now and rocking 60+ Nightmares
I followed your Paragon Boards to the letter and yet the last board I run out of paragon points yet have done all the progress to get all the extra paragon points. Where are you getting the extra points?!
Yes, very good build for rouge. The most hard part this build is the amulet. It is easy to find a Sheko than an amulet with +2 malice, +2 exploit, lucky chance. Then +2 exploit, +2 malice, +2 frigid is extremely rare 😢
Its really strong without those items. It was easy to bring online at lv55 with opening a lot of goblin treasure bags. I went from 55 to 90 in a couple days with my limited play time.
+2 to 2 skills is extremely rare. I've been playing for decent amount of time at level 100 and only found a single +2 frigid amulet. I think double +2 can't be bought for less than 2 billions
So the main target to Chase for the meta neck is +2 exploit > +2 malice > frigid with AS or lucky hit chance? , prolly getting 2 affixes is going to be hard as hell
All classes are fun to start and level, get basic gear, upgrade glyphs etc. That's the best part of the game. Then you hit endgame and if bricking gear with greater affixes is not enough you have countless masterwork rerolls trying to hit the affix you want,,
This season Im getting all classes to 100. Sadly due to the character limit of 12 I cant keep then all for nostalgia. Obviously Golem Necro is my fav this season. I have a different rogue besides this build, but it was fu and just completed the season journey. Incinerate Sorc is mad fun as soon as you have Flamethrower Druid is my least favorite Waiting for Shako, Grandfather and Doombringer before I level a Barb.
@@little_fluffy_clouds I almost crapped myself yesterday. Did a crap ton of duriel runs. Got shako, dex max life and +3 heartseeker, then got dex max life +2 subterfuge (been trying so hard to get umbrous with no luck)
Sorry for the noob question here. What is that ghost looking thing that comes out and seeks enemies and seems to explode? I can't figure that out for the life of me. As i said in a previous comment i just started playing this again and have missed quite a bit. Thanks. UPDATE: Okay. with some additional research i think i figured this question out. I believe this is the Shadowslicer aspect. BUT i don't see this discussed anywhere in this build breakdown yet it appears to be a big part of the gameplay...? See that is where i get confused with this stuff.
I playing around with this build since your first video about it. Still playing around with stuff. :) I found a nearly perfect Azurewrath and kinda don*t want it swap it. 20% lucky hit to freeze for 3s + 14k damage proc plus a buff of 50% dmg to all non physical damage which means it explodes for 21k damage. Not a fan of shadow step.. I never needed it so far. So stupid me uses shadow clone + hectic aspect which removes 2s of any skill on cooldown every 5 basic attacks. This also makes Dash always available. I also use much more attack speed than your build in the original video. Rapid aspect on amulet and a greater speed one on the gloves. I have to say though.. it's fun to just blast through everything.. I'm still not 100 though.
You losing a lot of vulnerable damage for the victimize passive + an aspect which is nearly infinite more valuable than what the unique sword provides, is not even needed it since you can have +lucky hit chance to freeze on your armor also adaptability goes into the amulet and moonrise on bow and around 50+ or 60 attack speed bonus so you don't over-cap with moonrise, and rapid goes into the ring or sword
@@KatCat18 gonna test this out ty. I swapped the aspects. Just need a better offhand. Getting annoyed that so many weapons have overpower as greater affix 🙁
It is by far the most fun build i've played in 4 seasons. Edit. had enough now just spent 90 million gold trying to get lucky hit on ring, enough is enough, its an absolutely ridiculous system, gold is tough enough to get without this gatcha mechanic I would prefer to brick the fucking item dogshit system.
He understates the difficulty with tempering vulnerable damage. It's 1 out of 4 possible options in cutthroat but it's definitely not a 1/4 (25%) chance. Its been proven that the results are not weighted equally so the % chance to get vulnerable damage is more like 5%-10%, not 25%. How many times have you rolled the exact same result all 4-5 attempts on a temper. The % chance of the exact same result 5 times in a row is like .003% having that happen once or twice is pretty unlucky. Having it happen consistently is highly improbable if each result has an equal chance.
Sir it is 25% - You are just very unlucky :) also please understand that 25% does not mean you will get it after rolling 4 times this is not have statistics works
You should always be using rapid aspect on your sword or ring, and you can absolutely remove accursed touch if you have a good roll on % chance for vulnerable and use another aspect Personally i run Edgemaster, Elements, Rapid, Inner calm and Frostbiten (Smoke grenade + 25% Crit damage against Frozen) you can also use Retribution and Concussive strikes also i use shadow clone + Hectic Aspect and Moonrise on bow, Adaptability on Amulet, currently i can clear 100s and speedfarm 90s
Victimize key passive double dips in vuln dmg. And it also scales on vuln. When you reach very high vuln the math changes a little though. Royal topaz in all weapon slots after 1450 vuln. I prioritized some vuln nodes in paragon into dex on glyphs for marksman and physical dmg, but thats needs more testing. Was at 1650 vuln dmg but low on dex and having the base dmg be higher is pretty good for the double dip on vuln.
just started playing D4, how do you get the small AoE nova after killing a mob? I'm leveling this after campaign but my heartseeker is single target only :(
just hit level 100, lots of good gear, but 1 question.. how'd you have 6 points of paragon left at the end?? i just dumped them in the extra all resist and 2 in 5% damage nodes for good measure. loving heartseeker rogue! way better than blizz sorc. maxing glyphs then i'll hit pits for that juicy masterwork
@@HofWasHere I'm not getting how shroud is related to resistances? Sure, we have damagem reduction, but still, with this setup my resistances are not 70% and they should be
There is a easy way to get cold resistance from his patsgon route. I think in the middle of the middle paragon board. Also i rerolled resistance to all on my pants amd i tjink on 1 other like boots or something. Then diamond in all slots or maybe 1 specific if others are high and 1 is real low. The problem with using resistances individually as affixes is when you masterwork your gear it may be over shooting that resistance over cap being a waste hence resist all rather then just one specific
@@zerozentao i need to check again but with the 6 points left I don't remember seeing a full path to cold but I will check again. If it's doable that's one resistance taken care of, but the other ones are scuffed. You need to trade two tempers for resistances and that's not what is being "sold" in this guide XD
So if anyone could answer this question it would be great. Even though my damage is through the roof...Im still so squishy. Almost get one shotted by just about anything. Tried to run uber Duriel with a buddy the other night who is using a necro and as soon as I get touched by the poison I just drop. Meanwhile my buddy gets hit by hit and hardly does anything to him. My armor is capped and all my resistances are capped. Just trying to figure out what Im doing wrong.
Or just use might aspect for the same 20% that doesn’t go down if you aren’t at 5 shrouds. Shako is super easy to get this season. Max iron wolf rep on two characters and then just kill Lilith and one tormented boss and you can craft it. Don’t rely on drops
Ok that worked. Couldn't tell you exactly where the difference is but slowing down the RU-vid video and pausing and following it worked. No spare points
