About what you said about Colleen Hoover's books, I believe that if someone reads one of her books they're going to love every single one of them. She's such a talented writer and you can always tell if a book is written by her. Her writing is very specific.
you recommending SLAMMED and HOPELESS made me nostalgic I WAS NEW TO ROMANCE BOOKS AND I USED TO BINGE WATCH YOUR VIDEOS . I read not only these two books but so many books because of you. YOU ARE MY FAV BOOKTUBER.
@@LovelyLikeLaura Hades Hangmen series is one of my favorites. I loved her book Sick Fux. Her new series Deadly Virtues is really good. So, all these stories r dark, gritty, messed up n so so good. Not for the faint of heart that's for sure. I am sure u will like it. The topics especially in Sick Fux, it will make u uncomfortable but sooo worth it. Hades Hangmen is one of my favorite series. The plot is addictive. Again deadly virtues start like this.... The Fallen: Genesis (Deadly Virtues, #0.5) it is a must read before starting the series. All the books I am talking about comes with warning. Plz give them a try n review for us.🖤💗
A thousand boy kisses just blew my mind. This book actually made me cry sad and happy tears and the ending was like yes, there was no other way it could have ended... ❤
I highly recommend the Rules Series by Eliah Greenwood! The first book in the series is Unwritten Rules and follows a girl (Winter) who moves from Canada to Florida for her senior year 😉 and suddenly gets caught up in her cousins world of illegal street fighting. It’s an amazing, drama filled, highly entertaining read!
Omg... reason to breath is so good and all colleen hoover's books. I really enjoyed reading them. If you haven't read it yet read all the bright places its an amazing read, you will love it.
Hopeless is one of my faves, too! Already have A Thousand Boy Kisses on my TBR! I'd recommend books by Katie McGarry for this trope. All the books of hers I've read are romances set in high school and deal with real life issues. Pushing The Limits, Crash Into You, Only A Breath Apart, and Echoes Between Us are some of my favorites from her!
I read a thousand boy kisses after seeing you talk about it on Twitter. And I have not been able to stop thinking about it since. I was a mess throughout and afterwards. But it’s such a good book. I love watching your recommendation videos, I’m introduced to so many good romance books
I read on the libby app, and they don’t have “a thousand boy kisses” they only have the audible version. I was so sad I couldn’t read it on there because that’s where I always read my book.
Hi Laura! Thank you for your recommendations, yesterday I finally decided to read A thousand boy kisses, and I just finished it and I don’t have words to describe how I’m feeling right now. My heart just broke completely, I haven’t cried this much in forever, but despite all that I really love the book, I really love it. Thank you for recommending it!!
Hey Laura 👋🏾. My name is Tyra Aiken, and I have just published my first YA Girl Fiction novel called East Side Living: Where the Mayhem Begins. It tells the story of five main characters: Olivia, Simone, Ayana, Loni, and Vanessa and how things don't go their way at the start of their junior year of high school. Things begin to go sour when Olivia's boyfriend is suspected of doing the unthinkable. Then there's the issue the five have to face that includes the queen bees of their school who cause trouble for anyone who aren't rolling with them or kissing up to them. When problems with Olivia's boyfriend start getting her and her friends in trouble, and 'he said, she said' drama is being spread, and talk of love triangles that involve the girls is being talked about, and with the queen bees beginning to target the five, it will all lead to a series of misfortune for the five and an unpredictable outcome that no one expects. For my East Side Living series, I intend on talking about real life teen issues, highschool drama, growing up in a dysfunctional family, dealing with abuse, dating/sex life, and so much more. Laura if you're interested in reading, I'd love to send you a copy. And to anyone else who's interested, my book is available on Amazon and in the Kindle bookstore. Thanks so much for reading my comment, and I hope you continue to have a beautiful day. 🌹💖
My first series was devil's Night by Penopele Douglus it's superb I am still obsessed with it and read the whole series an I recommend it but it's dark romance and also contains some trigger warnings U can check it out but though the ending is super.. Mainly it's about a town where there are four boys wealthy and they are called Four Horsemen and basically on Devil's Night the day before Halloween they put mask on and do insane things..... Whatever they won't and police also can't arrest them even if they know they are the four cause they are football players soo... And it's about how one year at devil's Night some of them got arrested and changed their like and it's amazing cause it's back and fourth pov ike what happened on devil's Night then again in present so it's present past duel pov and each of them have their own books with two novellas and it's also like it's always been you type of series which I like it.... Pps read it I hope you will enjoy it..
I just finished reading "Bully Me" by C.E Starkweather and can I just say IT WAS AMAZING!! super fast read but highschool, bad boy, bully, good girl, love triangle, all the good stoof
Heartache and Hope by Jay McLean is actually sooo good for high school trope.. you should check that out laura btw your recommendations is always a bomb❤❤❤
You need to read the RHA (Royal Hearts Academy) series by Ashley Jade... it's a high school romance series. So the first book Cruel Prince (TW it involves suicide!) is about Dylan who moves back to her hometown where her "ex" best friend, first love, first kiss Jace HATES her guts and she has NO CLUE why he HATES her so much but eventually she figures it out. The second book Ruthless Knight is about Jace's younger brother Cole and Sawyer (TW it involves suicide & drug usage) and you meet Sawyer in CP as Dylan's bff!
A Thousand Boy Kisses is one of my favourite books. I have read Slammed, Hopeless and Punk 57. However, I have not read the other two books in the Slammed trilogy.
Dam girl, same! a thousand boy kisses broke me through and through. I couldn’t put it down either. Good thing I was alone because I just couldn’t stop ugly crying... lol when they went to NY, I knew how it was gonna end.
I read the coincidence of Callie and kayden. And I’m now reading book 2. It took me all of a day, as a working mom, to get through that book. I wish she had written more about them. Each book ended too quickly and I really loved Callie and her progress.
I know it's kind of older but as someone who like the enemies to lovers trope I still love Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles (and also Bright Before Sunrise which is really similar but a quicker read if you like Perfect Chemistry)
I read Slammed by Collen Hoover after I watched an old video of yours and I couldn't be more thankful❤️. I just fell in love with this book thanks for talking about it coz this is so underrated. Love you💗
Thank you for recommending a thousand kisses. It was beautiful and I loved it. I cried and cried the whole time too. Thank you again for all your recommendations. Have you ever read Tabatha Vargo books? The chubby girl series and all her books are all good too.
love this and the recs!! I read slammed years ago and i remember not liking it at all but i cannot remember why and it was so long ago so maybe ill read it again sometime to see
Hi Laura, I really like your channel : your advice is so good!! For your "potential" next video about college romance , you should try Temptation of Ivy Smoak (it's also an age gap romance :) ).
I looked up Hood River Rat and saw it was published April 30, 2020. So when you said you've read three of the four books in the series, I was like, "Oh, it must be a spinoff or maybe Laura just made a mistake and it's a different series." And then I remembered romance writers are not like other writers, and I realized K Webster published four books in fourth months. 😂
All my book boyfriends are from Collen Hoover's heroes. Miles , Holder , Will, Atlas . They'll steal your heart and you'll never find men like them in real world.
I thought I was the only one I cried through the whole book as well a Thousand boy kisses broke me put me back together then broke me again . . I jumped it in without having a clue what the book was about .
My recommendation is Art and Soul by Brittainy C. Cherry. I started reading Colleen Hoover because of your recommendations. Hopeless was the first book I read but Maybe Someday sealed the deal

Hey Laura! Love ur channel and all ur recommendations! You should read Pestilence by Laura Thalassa I love the series so much and never hear anyone talk about it
Does losing hope take place during the same period of time as hopeless? Also, loved coincidence of Callie and kayden. Can you recommend any similar books?
I just checked Goodreads to confirm and yes, losing hope is technically the sequel but it's pretty much the same book but told from the guy's perspective
Slammed is my favorite from Collen Hoover but slammed 2 is not that good more like pov of the male lead. The coincidence and all it's other books is amazing
