You may have suggested using painters tape to secure the exposed wires so they do NOT fall back into the trailer wall before you are finished reattaching the new back camera/side view cameras. Ours did, and it was a major pain to recover those wires out from behind the wall.
nice video i'm thinking about getting this system for my 30ft car trailer, looking at the 4 camera system so that i can add the 4 camera inside so i can watch my car and motorcycle
When you are recording does it record from all the cameras or just the rear camera?? That looks like an awesome setup. Going to need one for ours for sure. Our current camera is not nearly this clear! Thanks for sharing!
I would almost would want a hard wired system But I guess if they get power from the running light power would be ok. and wire for each side camera for turning or merging to see blind spots. But I just don't wireless much, But if it all works great with out anything interfering with single. the Recording would be nice for like that with a traffic cam for insurance incase of and accident. The thing is I cant have lag at all because a second is a lot of them when moving at 55 or so. and needing to merge. Why I think I like hard wired.
One thing I have noticed with ALL of these wireless cameras is they produce a ton of EMF. You can hear it messing with the camera. Not saying it's a good or bad thing but seems this could be corrected?
Thanks for the video. They make an adapter to go from the Furrion pre-wired power connector for the rear camera. Do you know if they make one for the side cameras?
I just installed mine yesterday. Will try it out this coming weekend. I would really be interested in how you ran the trigger wires for the side cameras and connected them to the 7-way cord. We also have a 3121.
I tied in at the pin box. If you open the junction box. The red is left and the brown is right. There is an issue though. Those wires are turn and stop. So when you apply the brake it doesn't know what to do. Check out the last video I did on that. But don't be in a hurry I am still having issues when applying the brake. I am working closely with the R&D department at haloview to get it all solved and will up date you. I may have. A bad taillight converter. I have contacted curt on that issue.
@@GrimaldisOnTour that was easy. Just take the screws out and it will give you enough room to run a fish tape through then just put the screws back in. I actually used a fishing rod lol
Hey Dave I just want to give you an update on the issue I was still having with the trigger function. I actually had a bad taillight converter. I changed it out and installed the new one in the front compartment. I mounted it on the frame above the large compartment door. Also I ran a ground wire up from my ground buss bar so that it is a solid ground. This will help prevent any back feed back. Let me know when you get everything installed and how it is working. Safe travels.

@@janetjacobsen1138 that's a good question. When I get home this afternoon I will check mine. I am actually waiting on a replacement rear camera myself. It should be here today when I get it installed I will check all the cameras and see. In the mean time. If you email. Support@hailoview.com. they may be able to diagnose. Keep in mind the people answering those emails are in Hong Kong so they are 12 hrs ahead of us.
