Replacing the terrible stock intake bezels on a 2018 RZR XP 1000 with Polaris Bezel Kit #2206649. You can pick this up on eBay or Amazon for $99 and solve your FrogZskin clogging problems in just a few minutes. www.amazon.com...
I put super atv extended fender flares on mine makes a huge difference in the mud that can get slinged into the intakes . Love those bezels I will order them as well
Mine came in today. Fit perfect on 2021 xp1K. Actually took longer to unpack than to install. Not sure about other model years but the ‘21 already had the sticky foam. Tks for posting about this.
@@wiscodiesel9561 I ordered right off polaris site. It was about same as amazon/ebay and I felt better buying direct. Also added mud buster fender flairs… a game changer. Keeps all the mud from flying in the cab and off of those air intakes.
I wonder if that also adds more airflow to the cvt, openings on both side mud or no mud. Cooler belt Temps I'm wondering which also lowers engine Temps. Did you see any changes in those areas? Engine temp ? Belt temp? From previous stock single sided
Do you know if those are the same as stock 2020 rzr xp Turbo's? When I bought mine this summer I realized someone had changed mine for old style ones frogskin on one side only. These are alot cheaper than replacing with part # for my machine.
I was just gonna make this comment. I just put some on mine cause I'm tired of getting covered in mud every time I go riding. Game changer. I got the Mud-lite edition. They worked great and made clean-up easier too.
I can’t say for sure, but I don’t think there’s been a change to the bezels between 18 and 20. You should be able to compare the mounting arrangement if you pull your bezels abs compare to the video.
@@DirtyRoosterOffroad thanks for the the video, I did order the 16' turbo bezels right from Amazon. I need them when I run my Outlaw's on offsets, not to mention the lower temps and better breathing. Thanks again and keep the videos coming!
@@DirtyRoosterOffroad Fellow pa rider as well. Have u looked into the tour de forest in marienville? Well worth it. Very easy day of cruising the fire roads and portions of snow trails. Can easily do 150 miles in a day.
@@DirtyRoosterOffroad M&M is only about an hour from us. Unfortuntely Im working this weekend. Tour info is on Marienville fire company web page. Ive got some videos up on youtube from Fall of 2019. Basic stuff... just beginning to video and edit.
The turbo bezels are larger, but the most important difference is that they have frogzskins on the inside as well, so it doesn’t get clogged with mud. The outside skins get clogged quickly and will make your machine feel like it’s in limp mode.
@@DirtyRoosterOffroad great. Im on ebay right now ordering. Just did first real ride last weekend. Muddy beyond belief. Had to clean out radiator twice to keep temps down. Is that common with extreme mud conditions.
Yes. Those radiators can get clogged pretty quickly if you're in a lot of mud. We carry a small electric water pump with spay nozzle to clean it out when we're near clean water.
