Re3 save theme honestly made me tear up, think about life, it’s soothing, calm, and everything you’d want in a save theme. It’s so good especially after you got away from nemesis, but it’s still scary, because you feel calm, safe, but as you walk out that safe room, boom, he’s there right in front of you, my by far favorite save theme other than 7 don’t hate on me but I loved 7 a lot aswell, but nothing like 3, the remake brought back all the memories of when I first played it, teared up a bit not gonna lie.

RE4 save theme is so anesthetic, and it feels like you can sense the foggy atmosphere around Leon. I remember staying next to the merchant and closing my eyes just to relax . My favorite RE theme.

Code Veronica hands down best save theme. Hope they remake CV soon.

The first 3 games really nailed it in my eyes. All of them give you a sense of safety, as they should, but they all invoke emotions similar to how the game is presented. RE1 has the whine/howl in the background of the theme that makes you feel a sense of foreboding and terror. That you know the danger is there, and you have to eventually face it again alone. RE2's has the piano hitting lows and the stepping highs that feel like a sense of dread. Like everything has gone to shit and it's all fucked in the city but at least for a moment you have reprieve. RE3's piano has a sense of danger in it, but also a sense of struggle and determination. Like Jill, you know you're safe for a moment, but leaving means running back into the struggle, the push to get out of the city alive. They're so fucking good.

BRUH 0 is so good I wish more people appreciate it

RE7 safe theme is my SSS tier. Conveys that level of exhaustion but also a thin veil of safety and warmth.

Code Veronica save theme is best on any other game ever..

Has anyone else ever noticed that the RE2 remake save room music is good, but it some times doesn't play in the save rooms.

RE3 theme is the best for me, After you chased by nemesis or more enemies and then this music played in the background. Damn so nostalgic

7's a hard one to judge because it's very appropriate for the game's setting but it's so different from the rest

Resident Nemesis 3 has the best save song overall for the game it fits perfectly

Back in 96 when I first started high school, I actually fell asleep to the RE1 save music on numerous occasions because it just calmed me down and was really easy on the ears. I'm glad it's an S tier.

RE3’s save theme makes you feel safe, but knowing that Raccoon City ultimately ends up destroyed, it establishes a dissonance within the player - one that tells you “you’re safe for now, but you still need to get out of here. And time is running out.”

REmake is my favorite, but RE3 is absolutely the standout amongst for pulling off it's mood perfectly.

A moment of relief hands down is number 1 in the sense of feeling safe but RE3 takes the cake makes u feel like nemesis is right outside that room

You probably know already, but the RE2 remake has a piece that is very similar to the save room in the model viewer menu, even though it doesn't really count.

RE2 OG save room theme is just so perfect. It fits the location, the atmosphere, the characters, the enemies. Just literally everything. It's my favorite and I think objectively the best. RE3 is a very close second though. 3 makes you feel safe at some points, but there are many points that are foreboding and dreadful. Revelations 1 is very Dark Soulsy, I love it. That violin in Rev 2 gets me. So good.

its unfortunate that outbreak file 2 doesnt have a save theme, cause stuff like the opening theme for it is so good

Wow, all the S-rank ones are the ones I like most as well! I think you should have made a SS rank tier, since then you decide which ones out the 6 you like more. My favourite one is RE4 Serenity. I love having that in the background while studying or something else!

I've never payed attention to save themes until now and I'm upset. I totally agree that RE2 remakes theme is really bad compared to the others. It has no emotion to it.

Resident Evil 4 soundtrack you chose was made originaly for DMC , u can listen ir on the main hall of the castle.

RE2R had two save themes, there is one in the monitor room and that loops too.

Personally I think the save room theme for Outbreak (if it had one) would've been the Gallery theme song, it sounds just perfect as a save room theme.

The Darkside Chron (and Umbrella Chron, to a degree) almost sounds like a MGS2 song. Gaiden is funny as hell - and I agree on Dead Aim, it's a fantastic theme! Aside of this, the RE1 is easily the best!! The RE3 one is outstanding as well, but the RE1 theme is almost like a "Citizen Kane" moment of videogames. It combined Avant Garde and Pop sensibilities in a way that makes the track absolutely unique.

Any save room theme from a RE game that Claire was in always and S for me. RE2 & Code Veronica. Never played REvelations 2 but sounds nice, again Claire is in. As for REmake2. I agree, I expected better. Still nice and a nostalgic with modern but wish there was more to it.

RE2 Remake is underrated imo. I think it could be higher. It's moody and very ambient, but suits the game very well.

Dual Shock is my favorite save theme by far, first game i ever played on ps1

My favourite are CV and 4, but 3 is objectively the best one imo. No other one has that balance of peace and danger, it really sells the "in here you're safe but outside you're fucked" atmosphere. CV for the record really sucks at that XD

They should have recycled the same theme for RE2 remake it's already perfect, it's the most memorable save room theme in my opinion
