Portugal pushed the to shootout though also in semis. Similiarly Ronaldo decided to go fifth and didnt get to shoot luckily 2016 was redemption it was brutal. That's the sliding doors moment. If he doesn't save that, Napoli go through the group instead of us. We drop into the Europa, a much tougher schedule. We get demoralised losing by a point to City in the League and don't have the CL final to redeem it. We don't have that to push us on to win the league the season after. An entire alternate history because of one save!
