I can never get tired of this film, even if it ran on an endless loop during a marathon I will still be laughing. Alice Eve and Jay Baruchel have magnificent chemistry. A well done Rom Com as far as I am concerned

I love this movie! One of my favorite’s Lol it’s such a solid underrated rom com. I love the cast. Jay baruchel is great and Alice eve is gorgeous. I had the biggest crush on her after seeing this movie.
She later tells him all he needed to become a 10 -Confidence -Exercise his potential (he has a lot) -Stop thinking he doesn't deserve her ●1 she missed: just go to the gym 🏋️♂️

I have to agree. Outside of the occasional musician or entertainer, you almost never see the hot girl dating the nerdy less attractive guy. Jay Baruschel certainly dated not quite as attractive women (although he did land Allison Pill, who played the drummer of Sex Bob-omb in Scott Pilgrim). Course I never thought Tommy Lee or Rick Ocasek (the lead singer of the Cars) were good looking but they both landed supermodels or hot actresses.

I honestly feel it's easier to find real connections with 'average' looking people (myself being average looking too).. Once you feel mentally (same hobbies/interests/values/beliefs) and emotionally (love languages) attracted to someone, they 'glow up' in your mind physically because you're already deeply attracted to their personality/soul..
there's a lot of real women like this- but pay attention to the movie fr fr. she was ready to drop him when he didn't look committed, she was confident in herself and she wanted him to be confident too. confident women can't carry men forward they have to want it themselves. and kirk makes a really big transition from his weird thing for marnie to when he meets molly. and he grows a lot in order to keep her. but she was just as willing to meet him where he was at. keep looking friend. she's out there :)
@@ameliasmith1247 a lot of women? Please, for every perfect diamond there are lumps of coals or diamonds that are flawed in someway. You should also pay attention to the movie itself. Molly plays the role of the knockout in which it was dumb luck Kirk came to help her and found her a phone to give back to her. Sadly reality doesn't have a Molly, just a faker, a carbon copy that is flawed, a gold digger or worse.
You guys do realize there is a penchant of typically very exceptional women that go for this sort of guy exactly right? They want a goofyish gomez Adam's to fawn over them while making mistakes and then smiling about it to their face and laughing.

I probalby would really like this movie if not for the abundance of swearing and sexual inuendos. If they made it more family friendly more people would watch.
Why doesn't Jay work out.. and get fit, just put on a bit of muscle. He could be attractive. He's not bad looking, he's just too skinny, and looks frail and weak.
