BEST Scooter Tour of Belgrade, Serbia | Saint Sava Temple | Traditional Serbian Foods

Join us on our 2nd full day of adventures in Belgrade, Serbia! We eat new traditional foods, tour the Belgrade on Scooter with an awesome guide, see some amazing architecture including the Temple of Saint Sava and overall have another awesome adventure packed day!
First, we reminisce about our travel day to Serbia. Including the short but crazy fun flight, delicious Serbian (thanks to the viewer who told us their not Swiss) cookies, touring our airbnb and finally early traditional Serbian dinner out.
Next, we hop to 'today' as we pick-up our scooters and meet with our awesome guide Marko and the ret of our tour group. We start off a little rocky...but soon we are scooter pros!
Then, we tour what feels like the ENTIRE city of Belgrade. We see EVERYTHING! Okay, almost everything...from The Temple of Saint Sava to the Flower Square and everything in between. Including; Hotel Moskva, Starvi Dvor (Old Palace) aka City Hall, Novi Dvor (New Palace), Flower Square, Nikola Tesla Museum, The Museum of Illusions, St Mark's Church and more!
Finally, we end up back at the Belgrade Fortress which we toured in more detail in yesterday's video. We didn't want the day to end so we asked our guide Marko to recommend a local restaurant. It was delicious and it definitely surprised us!

We are absolutely loving exploring Serbia & learning about all of its rich history! 😃 We have been told by a Serbian the chocolate cookies on our flight are Serbian. 🍪They're delicious and we highly recommend them! 😋

Thank you to @SerbAtheist for recommending St. Sava's Cathedral! We didn't make it down to the crypt (as we were on a scooter tour) so we'll add it to our list for next time. BUT tomorrow we do tour the Tesla Museum which will come out next Saturday. 🤩

We love the tip after walking tours of a new city. We do them all the time. The guides are amazing and we get a good orientation to the city.

On 5:55 are portraits of HM Queen Maria of Yugoslavia, left, and of HM Queen Nathalie of Serbia, right - our two lovely Queens! You showed the Historical Museum of Serbia, not the Museum of Illusions.

"It looks like a normal European square". What does that even mean? Before, it was not a normal European square? The guide is not that good.

Serbia and Belgrade are interesting. But controversial, majority of nation think it's a great place. Minority on the other side think Serbia is miserable and poor. Because of that emigration rate is very high.

Stopa emigracije je velika, i Srbija je jadna i siromašna jer su nas za 100 godina Nemci, Englezi i Amerikanci triput bombardovali, ubijali, rušili i pljačkali. A danas Nemcima ne smeta da nam otimaju doktore, medicinske sestre i inženjere besplatno koji su se školovali u toj jadnoj i siromašnoj Srbiji.
