Okay so I didn’t have any miso but I did use this method to make some scrambled eggs and WOW! they tasted absolutely amazing! I flavored the butter with some seasonings and herbs that I thought would pair well with eggs and I served it on top of a piece of multigrain bread with some sandwich ham. I must say the patience paid off and I was so incredibly happy with it! Definitely my new favorite egg recipe
I have just tried the recipe - by far the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten! However, in my opinion it is not necessary to make the miso butter - just add the miso directly into the pan to the melted butter and mix it, then add the eggs, done. A few spring onions are also great. Very creamy, even without the second dose of butter. Careful with the salt!
Miso butter is highly rexommended as miso butter is a must-have! You can use it for pasta, meats, sauces and so much more! Miso butter is not just for scrambled eggs it's a whole new kitchen NECESSITY. Kinda like herb butter but east asian.
I do my eggs the same exact way, only with black truffle butter.......also to die for...........Marion you are the exact opposite of G. Ramsay...you exude peace and a warm & secure feeling with your wonderful cooking and warm voice, just a pleasure to watch you.......When I watch G. Ramsey, I want to smack something or punch someone. I like some of his cooking but I don't like his aggressive approach...........Cooking is a sensual adventure.....not a ring fight..............Just continue the good work!
Haha, I feel the same way. He's SO intense. I can't watch for long because of his intensity especially when I watched some of his other videos where he goes into kitchens in order to help them. Yikes!
Seems like none of you have seen masterchef junior or his daughter's cooking show. He's really funny and gentle when not in hell's kitchen. Angry gordon is his TV personality being disappointed at chefs that he's rooting for. So much more goes into the cooking world than you think
I super appreciate how you talk us through each part. It’s not rushed and I feel like you are guiding me through the cooking, which I feel most cooking shows need to do. Bravo! 💖☺️
Never tried Miso in scrambled eggs. Will definitely give it a go as soon as the supermarket opens today. Will surprise my partner with this and see if he can tell the difference! Happy Boxing Day!🇬🇧🎄
New to cooking watching you inspires me to create art every Sunday that I meal prep. I look forward to creating your art in the kitchen. Please continue inspiring us. Truly appreciate your videos
Obviously, I love your recipes, but honestly my favorite part of your videos is watching how happy and excited you are! You always put a smile on my face.
Just did this for breakfast today... Djeeezeee Louiseeee! This is heaven! I was already doing my scrambled eggs using the same technique as you, just using normal good butter (I have the joy to have really awesome local butter that I always use for special dishes, and my breakfast is the most important meal of my day... I am a breakfast person xD), and this time I just changed it for the miso butter, and added the parmesan and the japanese togarashi. Just amazing!
Goodness I LOVE how diverse your dishes are. They pull from so many cultural customs and it's such a joy to watch. It's like traveling and picking all the best cooking techniques from each kitchen and condensing it into yours :D
Yum! My mouth is watering 🤤 So easy but will be so flavourful. Definitely going to give these a try on the weekend and teach my teenage son at the same time.
Amazing!!I didn't have miso nor butter but used Ghee(chilled it in the fridge) and used your method of cooking. Turned out amazing! I added fresh chillies and coriander into the mix :). But will definitely give your recipe a go for New Year's! Merry Christmas to you and your family ! 🤗🥰
really enjoying your lively videos, they put a smile on our faces during this tough time. Could you introduce us to some of your fav utensils? I am particularly interested in the cheese Grater that we see here. Thanks again Marion and good luck from Tokyo.
Thank You for this recipe, I really love both Butter and Miso so much that I was so happy that I found a recipe that I can taste both of them in the same dish. I also like how you use too much butter as an ingredients, I often also use that much butter when I cook for myself because my family is not fan of too much butter so I only use that much for mine. I will try this next time. Thank You Again.

I found your channel a few months ago....I’m a culinary student and have had great opportunity since school cooking at the u.s open. And for tiger woods. I have to say you are gorgeous and captivating. And the TALENT OMG!❤️. Just love your videos and your culinary point of view...
I made this for breakfast on Turkish toast with leftover Christmas ham and it was delicious! Will definitely make scrambled eggs this way again, thanks Marion!
Just found your channel! It’s a gem. Im thai and i used to study in Australia. I love aussie big breakfast so so much. Could you make a video on How to make them please? Xoxoxo
Marion is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better then G.Ramsay, also she’s rlly calm and confident we’ll done Marion keep it up!
This was so so good! I just added miso directly into the pan and then the eggs, but I also used garlic butter (the only butter I had) and it was still great, in case if anyone is worried about using salted butter and making it too salty.
Just made this and it turned out incredible. The miso isn't overwhelming but adds a great subtle flavour, and the dish is so creamy and decadent! Goes well with a little arugula/rocket on the side to balance the decadence. Thanks Marion 😍
My Lord!! I made these beautiful eggs today and placed them atop a piece of toasted garlic naan along with sautéed shiitake mushrooms, arugula, and pickled red onions🤯🤯🤯 I could quite literally eat this every damn day.
Hey Marion.love watching your videos and I will give your eggs a go when I get some miso paste but I have yet to find a better scrambled eggs than Gordon's. I'll let you know how it goes.
Bought Miso for the chicken pot pie recipe. American, so had never heard this before.. now found this recipe and *”life changed* “so goood” as Marion would say. Any good ways to reduce the high fat but keep the flavor?
Wonderful dish. Instead of bread, I had white Japanese rice and topped it with toasted black and white sesame seeds. Great way to start the long weekend. Thanks, Marion for all these recipes!
I made this one for my family today. It has been decided that we will always keep a pot of miso butter in the fridge! That was a total win. 🎊 Love your work. ❤️
Goodness girl... just tried this out matching your recipe and process exactly, and MAN. Hands down the BEST scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten. And I made it!!! Haha thanks to you Marion 🙏🏽
