Glad you are enjoying the Igla system we installed for you. They are tried and true and we are happy that we are securing one mopar at a time! They are way to easily to steal along with the kia and hyundais.
@OxaudioPhilly hello Ryan, I'm looking to get a igla system installed by you. I'm located in 08865. I'm unable to find any contact info on your website. I have a 21 trx.
Great video. Will look into this when my 22 Hellcat finally gets built / delivered. And I feel you with that heat man I’m in South Florida and it’s no joke!
That’s the exact deterrent Ive been looking for. Why so far to get it installed. I’m in Suffolk county and have a Silver and black TRX. Keep up the great videos
I picked up the truck in Virginia and the company told me they only have shops in PA and NJ so I figured I was going to be driving through PA to see my cousin I could just get it done at the same time. It worked out and thanks man I appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Thank you for showing this! I am definitely thinking about installing this on my Scat Pack. Have you also thought about also installing Compustar T13 with Drone for tampering/GPS purposes? I keep hearing the ultimate security is to have both so just wanted your thoughts on it.
No problem and yeah it should work great on the scat. I actually just went a cheaper route and hid a bunch of apple tags all over the truck lol. I know where it is at all times!
Amazing product review. Just saw a feature on car thefts here in Toronto and they mentioned the IGLA, came to RU-vid and saw your vid. Need this for my 4Runner. Already two failed attempts on my truck. Have you encountered any issues at all since having it installed?
Yeah it’s brutal now a days luckily no attempts on my truck but had someone local have his TRX and another had his hellcat stolen so definitely worth it imo. No issues at all since I had it installed it will works perfectly. About to install a shock sensor on my truck as well so will be doing a video on that real soon!
I just watched somebody else with this system they had a small fob on their key where they didn’t have to use a pin code UNLESS they were using the key without the fob on it ? Did you not get a small grey fob with the system for your key chain
No I got the key fob but I feel that defeats the purpose of the PIN code. If I get carjacked and they take my keys with the fob then the system would be useless. At least if they do that next time they would have to put in the code or it wouldn’t start and I would be able to locate the truck. That’s just my opinion
Yeah! You got your plates!🎉 This alarm system is awesome! I like the pin configuration - that is really cool! The only thing is finding someone local who distributes it and can professionally install it! Did you order direct from IGLA or did the installer sell the system?
The installer gave me a location and they had the alarm system so it was I think $1000 for the system itself and install, not bad for the piece of mind
I think this is the best security system in the market. Others has major flaws like the kill switch - they can easily pop off the the trim, cut off the kill switch and re-attach the red wire. Carlock - they will just remove it from the obd. So by far, this is the best security imo.
110% agree I’ve already seen on forums that thieves weren’t able to steal a few mopars because of the IGLA so for me it’s a no brainer it definitely makes me sleep better at night!
I’ll be getting this as well! I’ve seen surveillance videos and heard stories of people stealing these TRX’s with a laptop in like 4 minutes, did they give you any insight into how or why they can’t get around the IGLA system the same way?
Supposedly they can’t find the security system to disable it but then again if thief’s really want it I’m sure they can still take it but it will take a lot of work and hopefully by that time I can see it or be aware it’s being taken. I also have a bunch of apple air tags in it so I’ll know where it is and be alerted if it moves!
@@Lagolifestyle yeah I suppose you can only do so much, if I wasn’t convinced this type of performance truck will soon be a thing of the past then I wouldn’t be so concerned lol
@@liftit8461the igla keeps them from being able to relay attack or program a key. But if they hack it, I’d suggest getting a compustar system paired with the igla. So that by the time they break into your car and hack it, your phone will send notifications that you car has been broken into and the key fob will too. Research the compustar security systems. I just got mine today and am working on getting an igla
I got same one on my hellcat challenger I paid $1200 and is worth every penny. One time I came back from shopping and I seen my window boosted and my car was still there
Holy shit! I also saw that on a trx forum a guy came outside and saw someone broke his window in front of his house but they couldn’t take the truck. Best investment I ever made! Glad to hear it worked on yours
Does it damage the electronic systems or something in the long run after installing this system ? My dealership said it the engine if damaged by this system I have to pay for the repairs
I don’t think so and the dealer wouldn’t even know it was there to be honest once it’s in service mode it just turns on normally without the pin. I’ve had it since I got the truck which is almost a year and a half ago and never had one issue. It’s worth it imo better than have it stolen
That’s a good question. I’ll reach out to the company and see what they say but I imagine if they disconnect it and then connect it again the system should still be on but I’ll find out
@@jt31713 sorry for the delay I just called them if you unplug the battery obviously you won’t be able to start the truck but if you unplug the battery and plug it back in the security system will automatically turn back on. Hope this helps!
Have shock sensors so my alarm will be going off like crazy and I don’t park anywhere overnight unless it’s my driveway and if they pull up with a tow truck I’d hear all that and they’d be in for a surprise 🔫
I don’t think you can just buy the system you have to go and get it installed by an authorized installer they do that so people can’t just buy it and learn the system and figure out a way to bypass it
Yup it is a Russian product but had it for over a year and haven’t had a single issue. No complaints from me I know a bunch of mopar guys run it. Gives peace of mind for sure
Idk if you know this also but even if you get hijacked and thieves steal your car when the engine is on, as soon as you open the door to leave you will have to put the key before 300 mts if not the car it will be stopped.
@@Lagolifestyle give it a try, you have to open and close the door without stopping the car, while you drive you will be warned with the hazard lights on the board that you need to enter the key or the engine will be stopped. The amazing part is that it does it without damaging the engine.
