No expert here but I have been shooting for 20 years. I have owned 6 hoyt bows because they feel right. I have shot dozens of other bows and can't figure out why people are infatuated with terms like "hand shock" or vibration. Those are tems I would associate with a large caliber rifle or an old Harley Davidson. If you read older bow reviews or watch the videos, everything was quiet with no hand shock. Good for the evolution of technology. I will rest on my VTM 31 is by far my best hoyt and that includes my 2 previous bows were a Carbon Elemnet and a Carbon Defiant.
To you, what’s the biggest difference between the VTM and the Ventum pro? I’ve heard they are suppose to be quieter but they do seem very similar. I think I like the draw cycle on the VTM 34 better than any bow this year.
In the past, Hoyts have been notorious for what is called “Hoyt hand shock” they were not a very dead Bow and they were not very quiet. The huge thing that they went after this year is vibration. They made the VTM 31 and 34 incredibly dead in the hand and by doing that they also made the Bow significantly quieter. I also feel like that extra inch that they added to their bows this year made the draw cycles that much better!
@@RAX-OUTDOORS Gotchya. If the VTM had a tuning system like Deadlock on Bowtech or Elites SET, I’d already own the 34. I don’t own a bow press but like tinkering on my own. Your shop might not sell them but the Bowtech SS34 is near the top of my list with the VTM 34.
Mathews is the best at being the loudest and shitiest drawing bows for the last few years !!! Just horseshiet. . . The Bear whitetail legend Pro drew and shot quieter for $500 new....
I own a few newer flagship bows and my mathews v3x 29 is quite and dead in the hand and fast. Mathews is the best on the market. You know how many used vtm are for sale alot.
Everyone has their opinions and boils down to personal preferences, I personally shoot Mathews and have never had any issues with them. Not a nock against Bear but the only reason why they are so cheap is because there is less demand for them and for Hoyt I used to shoot their bows a long time ago but they have just not been able to keep up with Mathews in technology and innovation.
