BEST SITE D-9 AT MERRISACH LAKE CORP OF ENGINEERS PARK BY TICHNOR ARKANSAS 

This was an absolutely amazing campsite. It was all alone in the middle of a cul-de-sac on a peninsula, jetting out into the water. The water was where Merrisach Lake meets the Arkansas River. We watched large flotillas of barges go by being pushed by tugboats up and down the river way. Just down from the park was a large set of locks to watch them float through. One of the best campgrounds we found on our trip through Arkansas.
