I have a wider foot and ended up getting the la Sportiva vanguard boots. With a shell punch on the 5th metatarsal and inside, they feel great! Another good wide fitting option for us wide footed people

Great downhill performance too, with 130 flex. 102.5mm last and 60 degree ROM so tours fairly well too.

As another option I found the scarpa maestrale xt fit me well. I have EE width feet and I’m not a snowboarder, but have been told many times I should be.

hello top video🤩, however I hesitate between the seven summits and the ft sc (for the track, powder and a bit of hiking and freestyle) which one would you recommend? Knowing that the seven summits is much lighter. thank you and good evening

Would be interested to hear about shells, both Alpine and AT (crossover resort/slackcountry) that are most suitable for people with very high insteps.

Any recommendations for wide 2 buckle touring boots for a splitboard hardboot set up? Most commonly used boots are the Atomic Backland, the Dynafit TLT series and the Key equipment Disruptive, but all of those are a narrow last (not even medium).

The best AT boots for splitboarding are those almost too soft for a proper descent on skis by the way :)

Perfect timing. As a normally Altra wearing guy this is handy. Dynafit I didn't think to check before. Any other three piece boots worth looking at besides the FT and Dalbellos?

Not really many other 3 piece. Sort of hybrid with the Scarpa Maestrale or other Scott boots. But depend on how wide you need them. This list is generally more high volume, there is a few other mid fit with better heel hold. :)

Hi!! I have one question: I have a slightly wider foot and am hesitant between the two models - Nordica SpeedMachine 120 and Atomic Hawx PRIME 120S. What would you choose? Thanks!

Awesome guide. One question: wich one would you recoomend for someone that does some ski mountaneering (800-1000 m uphill) with ski with touring bindings and alpine skiing (sky resort) with alpine bindings (for instance grip walk).

On this list I would recommend the FT. But a couple of others that are quite moldable for wide feet would be the Salomon Shift or the Hawx Prime XTD. Even a Lupo Pro could be an option.

Too bad none of them ... or none of new boots has canting adjustment .. !!! this season was in the marker for some brand new boots... .had to aquire la sportiva Spectre 2016 model.. none of the newer ski boots has canting adjustment

Yes very rare for a touring boot. All focus is on front to back range of motion! Definitely a good find to pick up a boot of that era. :) How do you like them?
