My serum jrny (kind of) started with minimalist. I used the peel as well. I don't knw y but I felt no improvement. Then I started to explore more brands lyk deconstruct, earth rythm and dermaco including plum vit c. I don't knw which product helped me or is helping me but my frens say that my freckles hv lighten a lot and my skin luks more radiant and glowy☺️. All thanks to u ma'am (and few other awsm skincare experts in this platform), I made suncscreen my bst fren and moisturizer my bedtym partner, which I hated bfr as I hv OILY-combi skin. I recently got the ordinary peel and the minimalist 16% vit c from nyka 🥳 hoping for the best fingers 🤞.

@@Sadiapatka #In the beginning/past:- minimalist Alpha arbutin 2%, Vit c 10%, retinol and niacinamide and chemical peel, Plum vit c 15%, Deconstruct vit c, earth rhythm vit c 20%, tretinion 0.02%. Minimalist toner. Sunscreen:- re'equil ultra matte dry touch 50+ pa++++ Moisturizers:- Earth rhythm and minimalist. At present:- Dermaco vit c 20%, pore control serum. Neemli tranexamic acid serum 10%, earth rythm niacinamide 10%. Tretinoine 0.005% Toner:-simple/dermaco toner. Moisturizer:- Re'equil Moisturizer/ponds super light gel. Sunscreen still re'equil ultra matte dry touch. *I don't knw which specific product is helping. So, I guess, I need all of these.

Hello mam, i am at my 30. I'm using minimalist retinol, niacinamide. Loreal hyarulonic acid which is the last purchase from loreal. I will try other brands next. Please guide me if i need to add anything or change anything in my skincare. I have dry dull skin, however using these products improved my skin. N love for this video🥰❤️

I absolutely love products that combine actives into concentrates and in turn reduce steps, time, and cost. Deconstruct does it beautifully, infact azelaic use krke sach me maza ajata h😅 generally working with atleast two active ingredients, conscious chemist also does it beautifully.... Especially their truebiome cream is chef's kiss, reequil serums also have more than one active ingredient, so does detoxie vit c. I just don't like having ten serums for ten actives. Thoughts?

@@RubinaSkincare lately I've been using conscious chemist truebiome cream ( azelaic acid+ tranexamic acid+ kojic acid + niacinamide ) four nights a weak, so I eliminated all the products that have any of these actives. For mornings my go to are detoxie vit c( can't thank you enough, again SAP and niacinamide and matcha and retinol all in one serum ) or reequil sap 10( which again has niacinamide too). Then comes DC retinol+ peptides ❤️ Earth rhythm phytorepair moisturizer Cipla Excella moisturizer ( has niacinamide) Dot and key cica range Shall I confess my fav exfoliating product is extremely affordable Kaya purifying toner ( mandelic acid) and sefpil cream( Pharma product)( glycolic and mandelic) !🤣

Rubina please please tell me what should I do, my skin after starting skincare was neve that great but now last month I started sugandha squalene and simple face cleanser and derma co salicylic, my face was full of closed comodone and white heads I stopped everything and now using only minimalist cleanser and sebamed gel moisturiser but still my face is getting pimples proper those hard pimples I never had seen so much brrakout in last 33 yrs. I went to a derma and she scolded me that why even I started all these chemicals and sunscreen when it was not needed, and she said inside house you don't need sunscreen. I bought Deconstruct peel on your recommendation Rubina and oh my my it is an absolute kick-ass product!!!! Hi Rubina, this is one of the best and most required comparison to help choose between these 3 brands as these 3 are the most loved and trusted brands. Can you please review some multi-ingredients products like Suganda’s Arbutin+tranexamic acid serum, conscious chemistry’s azelaic+tranexamic acid and eclat’s fadeout serum, which can help target the acne breakouts and their stubborn marks by a single product. For non-expert skincare enthusiasms like me it will be easier to use one product instead of incorporating multiple products in the skincare regime to avoid irritation, more breakouts etc and then wondering which product might have caused it.

Exactly the video I wanted. You read all of our minds. I have been using DeContructs peel for the last few week and it’s very hydrating and effective. I am also using their 10%niacinamide serum and can see the effect after 4weeks. I am eyeing coffee serum and The Buffet serum from TO.

I have a doubt like all the acids and exfoliators we used but should we use for a long run or should we give a break or rest to our skin like a detox for a month where we should not use any acids and then again restart after a month

hi shweta, please use them for 2 years minimum to see results. I dont understand yuotubers who go about cautioning prolonged usage of actives as a bad thing! especially when they themselves have not had pigmentation or acne scars and so no experience! i am sorry for being a bit ranty on this but i get so heavy hearted when I see girls suffering emotionally due to bad skin because their fav youtuber has told them that using AA for more than 2 months is bad...the actives one needs to be careful are kojic acid and hydroquinone which is always highlighted in my videos. do check my vid on AA safety- its completely safe for 3 years and afer that you can take a break and come back. but the point is that in 2 years you will see enough fading to not have to use it beyond that! thank you for reading through this and letting me rant💕

and yes as for exfoliators you can use them as long as you need in terms of prolonged use as long as these are not used frequently- about once a week is good. What I share here is from experience and consulting derms and my education in skin...so i hope that helps. you make an informed decision.

Hey i have also faced the same issue then i watched sreeja - the skin o real girl's video and she said that layering products on summer may trigger acne and Whiteheads . so i m only using the serum in my morning routine followed up with sunscreen and it really helped with my acne marks..so basically u want to say that if you live in humid climate then don't layer too many products .. the deconstruct products are itself very hydrating.if you feel your skin still dry after product application then only use moisturizer otherwise you can skip the moisturizer when using the serum.. i have done this now it is working well. I am using the arbutin in morning and pad 8% at night..its working beautifully on my acne and scars..and in morning i skip moisturizer ,i apply the serum and sunscreen directly after that.

Hi Rubina.. I have been following you from many months. Completely love your review. But I would like to know about preservatives like phenoxyethanol used in the composition. Is it safe to use it in long term, as no company mentions the percentage used by them.

Another lovely video Rubina. You are on a roll! I had taken my 13 year old to the dermat. She said that she has a bit of congestion on the skin with whiteheads (acne vulgaris). She has suggested Tret but that really dries up her skin. Which retinoid would you recommend for beginners? She had also suggested a once a week exfoliation by The Ordinary, but I am planning to start with the Deconstruct exfoliating serum which I loved using. Nervous to use TO Exfoliating Serum on her.

hi divya, i would think tret is too much of overkill for congestion...could you please consult another dermat? yes decon exfoliator is good choice to begin for her. does she have acne- (mroe than 10 breakouts at all time on the skin)

@@RubinaSkincare thank you! No, she does not have acne. It's mostly congestion with whiteheads esp in the mask area which is covered and thus sweaty. I am currently using the Innisfree Volcanic spheres face wash, the Formula RX moisturizer, a sunscreen in the morning and the deconstruct breakout control serum plus a Cica calming gel in the night. Most of the above are on your recommendations, which I swear by :)

yes and for swimming tan nothing much can be done except swimming in an indoor pool. you can also use water resistant sunscreens for swimming- these are sports sunscreens and i have not seen any in india

I have been using minimalist niacinamide serum for 3 months, it's doing nothing for me infact the first time I used it my skin broke out like anything, I never get pimples it was the first time I knew what having pimples feels like, my skin is good (i m 17 yrs ) but I m getting few small brown spots, I play lot of outdoor sports so sun damage might have caused it and that's why my sister asked me to use niacinamide serum but it's not doing anything, am I expecting a lot too soon? 🙄

DR v kaa apnaa hee track chaltaa hai...she also bashed glycolic acid for indians...but derms will suggest you and I personally know that pigmentation ka best fader is glycolic...sorry but I dont understand product bashing when skincare is so subjective.

Hi Rubina,please help.I ordered innisfree jeju vocanic facewash and after using for like 10 12 days i m feeling its a little drying for my skin. I have combination skin with pretty dry upper cheeks. The main problem is since I feel my skin is dry after washing face, I slather a lot of moisturizer and then I m getting acne. I m not sure what to change in the process. The facewash is pretty costly, which I dnt want to throw away

hmmm can try using less qty of the face wash- just a drop works . let me know. you can also try using HA serum before moisturiser instead of increasing the qty of moisturiser
