@@xxxxihavetheworldsworstcha6142 Strange... don't remember ever seeing you comment on my Tamiya Videos. Not even the more recent ones 😎👍 You should try some of the cheap Chinese made stuff... it's pretty good 😉
XxXx I HaVe tHE W O R L D S WORST CHANNEL XxX I’ve looked at all your subscriptions.... not one RC related one, you should really subscribe to RC channels, it might perk you up a bit. Plenty of Tamiya ones out there 😉👍. Anyway, the best RC is the one that puts the biggest smile on your face. Enjoy the rest of your day 🤟
One think i like from you , is that you make videos for cheap rc car's. And for persons like me, that we don't have money for expensive rc car's like 400 hundrend euros and above, is very good . And with these cheap rc car's , still we can enjoy the hobby grade rc car's.
No problem dude. I sometimes get a lot of negativity for reviewing Cheap/Budget stuff, but i know there are lots of people out there that enjoy RC whatever the cost! I have some really good cheap ones, that if they break, are even cheaper to repair 👍
@@TomleyRC thanks for having thick skin and enduring the criticism. There's a niche for these products, go to any forum and FAQ is what's the best for $100? it's above toy grade off the shelf and has an upgrade path. Not every body is going to drop $200-250 on a 1/10 brushless running 3S & give an 8 yr old, who might break Grandma's leg with.
I have an extra brushless setup but my kids aren't ready for that kind of power so I kept the electronics stock. Great car and great video brother. Always enjoy watching.
I bought 2 of these upgrade the shocks and give them to my 6 year old nephews its perfekt they play since them nerly 1 to 2 Times a week outside with them....i think this screams after a bigger hobbygrade rc if they are old enough;)
Nice one Phil! I think this one passed the Tomley RC Garage bashing test with flying colours! Plenty of oomph and tough too, what's not to like? And as always, thanks for the nice set of slomo shots to finish off the video - we love a bit of slomo mate! :-)
Phil why oh why carnt they put bloody oil filled shocks as standard is beyond me, 🤔 what a little beast it is mate, amazing slow motion action and Amazing Bashing video as always, think we keep upsetting the Traxxas people because we like having cheaper fun 🤪🤣
@@TonysRcTechboom That's us!! RIGHT here across the pond, were pretty skint too Gov!! So Remo's more than welcome here in the colonies of California, NICE vid mate, the best!! 👍💯👀
@@TomleyRC they are. I really love mine. I use it to exercise my pitbull. When I got it I was so amazed when I got it with the tremendous speed and such precise control that it has. I've had my dromida for over a year now, my pitbull chases it every day and I still have not flipped it over
Whats the brushless upgrade link? I have two with brushed motors and want to upgrade them to brushless like yours. I'll definitely be doing the shocks to for the money, looks like makes a big difference. Thanks
I got a wl a959,and a wl 12428,with a titan 12t motor, 5200 batt, very fast, I have done everything I think of to fix the steering problems,, then came the vibration, shaking from drive shaft. I finally gave up, I bought the rocket, I plan on doing a few mods, it's not here yet. Do you a titan 12t motor will fit in the little rascal.?
Hey how you doing today wanted to see if you can help I have the Remo hobby rocket my ESC went out so I bought a new one but there's one problemI don't remember what three black wires go to the colored wires on the motor the blue yellow and red can you please help me figure out which one goes to which thank you
I just got my truck back out. I purchased mine in 2018 for $62 USD. This is my fist RC car and have upgraded a few stock components to aluminum. I am considering doing a better motor, any suggestions?
Sorry to have to give you negative feedback, Phil. Idk which recent vid of yours I saw it in, but I followed a banggood link to some shocks. I bought 4 pair. After filling the first two with oil, I discovered the cap had been cross-threaded during assembly. The border around the silicone dome is also too thick & only allows for a small bit of thread to grab. Then, filling the other, I put the cap back on and upon compressing the piston rod, oil literally sprayed out the bottom, around the shaft. (I had already checked and the seals are in place.) The brand is Remo and I still haven't opened two of the other packages, concerned for what I'll discover.
Al Jensen Don’t worry Al, if there’s an issue with quality I’d rather it highlighted than hidden. My Remo shocks seemed ok, I’ve been out a few times and you’ll see on the next video that it certainly gets some use and any issues would have probably reared their head. I’ll have a proper look when I get home as I have another set still in the packaging.
Hello, I come for this reason ask for help from someone who knows, which is: about oil shock absorbers, ... once bought a pack of 4 or 6 bottles of 60ml with numbers on its label that goes from 800 to 3000cst, .. I believe this is the name, and what I wanted to know is with the increase of such number (cst) the oil gets thinner, or thicker! overall and for 1: 8 and 1:10 scale cars of road, what would you advise? , .. because I think what I have very thick, though, that some say is also for differentials, if you can give me a help in this issue of damping oil I appreciate, .. thank you
Hi Rui, the higher the number the thicker the oil. For differentials you want quite thick. For off road I like a medium oil, but it all depends on the size/weight of the truck etc. buy a few different thicknesses and give them a try.
