Which one would you recommend s40 or yas 209 for good experience? Is there any major difference between 200w and 600w in its sound quality? I love both music and movies, I hope you can recommend one for me!!
I would choose the YAS simply because of the better overall sound output. However, if surround sound speakers is important to you, then you can consider the S40. But personally, the YAS is better. The YAS competes with the Sony HT-G700.
Hi Need some suggestions for speaker around 20k . Main requirements:- 1)Bluetooth Connectivity 2)Will connect it with my PC so Optical Fibre port is must . And my room size is 12X12 and main purpose is watching movies and series on my PC and listening songs. . I was thinking of getting Sony HTs20R or Samsung B550 or Obage 5.1(newly launched one). Can you please help me out with the same on which to choose or can recomend some other alternatives
I haven't heard Obage, so can't comment on the performance. However, both the Samsung and the Sony are great options for their price. I would recommend you go to an offline store and listen to both. put simply, the Samsung can get louder, while the Sony has surround speakers, so those can be factors you consider before buying.
Hi, could you please suggest between Sony HT-S40R and Samsung HW-B670/B67E XL Both seems very similar and from what I've heard from other reviews, Sony is more into bass, so much so that at times dialogues take the backseat. Is it true?
I recommend you go and experience both of them at an offline store. you can carry content you are used to watching on a pen drive and experience it at the store to know which one you like better. Having said that, in the Sony S40R you can increase the volume of the channels, etc. I would go for the Sony between the 2.
Nice review. Lg sp8a or yas 209. Sp8a is feature rich but no idea how it translate in real world. Some are sayng yamaha is better.some are saying yamaha is half of sp8a. Requirement is, Not very big room( not square its l shape room). Sound clarity and separation matters most. Yamaha is not available for testing physically. Please advise . Both comes in same price. Going to use for longtime.
Hi Sameer, I recently got a 65-inch LG B2 and the down firing 20W stereo speakers are just meh. I primarily want to watch movies on BluRay, and they often have 5.1 or 7.1 mix. The soundbar will be used in a 200sqft room with no possibility to run wires and the couch is against the wall, and I don't know where I'd place surround speakers. The store I purchased the TV from are offering the LG SC9S soundbar for 30k. I also see the Philips Soundbar TAB8947 for a similar price point on Amazon right now. Will the LG be as good as the other options you mentioned in this video?
The lg bar you're talking about is tuned by meridian and as much as I've heard, the sound quality of that thing is mind boggling. It also gives you that virtual surround effect. Philips on the other hand doesn't provide all this. My suggestion would be to go with lg as you've got a lg tv too and the soundbar itself is magnificent. Why not just go to the store and ask them for a demo of the soundbar
I am using LG SC9S for a week now. Got it at 28k from Reliance Store with 2k card discount. For movies it's simply brilliant. For songs too it's very good, but in some songs you may find that bass is little less. The clarity and quality of bass is superb. There is ambiguity if Meredian has tuned it or not. This has not mentioned in the bar nor in LG's site, but has been mentioned in LG sales broucher. In older model SP8A, meredian is mentioned in the bar itself. Since 9S is 2023 model with 3 upper firing speakers, I went for that.

Thanks! It depends on your use case. If you want rear surround speakers, then go for the Sony. If you just want to enhance the sound from your TV then you can consider the JBL. But remember that the Sony has rear wired speakers that all connect to the subwoofer. Also, for the best effects from the Sony, the rear speakers should be at ear height about 4-6 feet away from your ears facing you. Once again, I recommend going to an offline store and experiencing them before making a purchase decision.

@@pramitroy11 Id go with wither the Sony HT-S20r or the JBL bar 2.1. 'Id go with the Sony if I had the space for surround speakers and was able to position them facing me at ear level. Else, just to enhance my movie watching experience, the JBL are a very good option. Although, If I can choose outside the options you've presented id go for the sony Sony HT-S400 as it has good voice clarity for movie watching.

Hi, thanks for the comment. IN terms of the TV, I think you should go with the X90L. You will be very happy. It is fairly important to have a soundbar especially if you want a good cinematic experience. I would say, you can hold off on a soundbar till you increase your budget as the X90L deserves something that packs a bigger punch. But if you want one recommendation from your list, go for the G700. HomePod is great but a dedicated soundbar is better

@@mayankkumar-do7qf Depends on multiple things. The size of the room and the type of content you consume is most important. Also, how important is surround sound? in that case you should consider something with rear speakers. 4K content caters to the visuals only. You should look at support for the audio. If, for example, you buy a Dolby Atmos soundbar, then the content you consume must be in Dolby Atmos to take advantage of the features on the soundbar. Depending on your budget and type of content you like to consume, I can recommend a good soundbar for your needs.
Sony HT-S20R, a big no!! Bought it, and returned it the very next day. Yeah! the bass is room shaking, but the vocals, high tones etc. are muffled. I think with a Sony TV, the equalizer setting can enable. Mine is a Samsung 4k tv and even with the hdmi eArc, sound quality, the high tones are unimpressive.

Just wanna ask under 30k , how is lg sp8a and lg eclairs since i have lg c2 ...and under 40k should i go for sony ht-g700 or lg sc9s ? Any1 with any ideas please guide
under 30K both are decent options. the eclair is compact and helps save on space. under 40, id go with the Sony simply because it has good range, pronounced bass and can get really loud!
In my experience. the voice clarity for both the soundbars is almost at par. I would recommend you listen to them at a store near you to see which one you prefer.
the Samsung will be louder. but you should consider the positioning and distance you sit from the soundbar. for sound quality, I recommend listening to the sound in an offline store.
While I haven't spent a lot of time with it, the Samsung B67E is a better option when it comes to features and performance. However, I still recommend you go and listen to both in an offline store before investing.
Why LG SP8A is not in the short list? I recently purchased LG SC9S which sound almost same as SP8A. I had compared both side by side in the store. Both are excellent products, producing quality sound with proper lower bass, not boomy bass like Sony. I got LG SC9S for 28k from Reliance store, where as it is listed for 35k in on-line sites.

I'm using the sony ht s20r. In 5.1 dolby digital contents it works fine but in 2.1 sterio contents the same sound comes from all the speakers like you've said in the video. Is there any setting available to switch between 5.1 and 2.1?
You can play around with the different sound modes and see which one helps with this issue. Else, you can manually reduce the volume of the surround speakers from the settings to help with this.

Haha. you will have to consider the dimensions when you purchase the soundbar.
