This system will get a noisy fan after a years worth of use (Luck Based) here is how you solve that issue: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XOjKgFTnRN4.html
I've had this Sony sound system connected to a Samsung smart TV and the Sony sound was like mud. No info in the Sony guide but I found you on RU-vid and What a Dufference! Thank you very much!
Hey@AMRKHN Somehow my display panel isn't showing anything. So using the function button is hard because you don't know what setting you are on. How do I deal with that?
What console (or pc) do you play cod on? Do you have an Xbox? Since switching to arc on the latest Xbox, there’s a slight audio delay and the only fix is to put the Xbox into stereo as opposed surround sound (pretty sure it’s an Xbox issue). My ps5 doesn’t have any audio lag nor does my PC or switch. Just Xbox. Have you experienced this before or know of a fix please? By the way, did not know about demo sound and I’ve had this since 2014!! It’s definitely made a difference so thanks for that
I'm glad to see it made a difference. Unfortunately, I have been a PlayStation player since day one and I have no idea of troubleshooting an Xbox, as I do not own or never have had one. I can not think of any way to fix your Xbox issue. Maybe a quick search of "Xbox audio lag" may help you. Apologies, I could not help much with your Xbox problem.
You need to make sure both of your devices are HDMI ARC compatible and if they are then there will be a special HDMI ARC port on the TV which you need to plug in to. Also if your using an old HDMI Cable it wont have the ability to use the ARC function. Once you have made sure both devices ARC compatible and also plugged in the right port, then you need to find the HDMI ARC option in the TV as well as the sound system and enable it. Then it should work. No wire mess simple audio to your sound system from what ever is conected to your TV. Hope this helps.
@@HyperAMR my TV is arc capable .. the sound system also... the cable is a 4k hdmi cable... I not sure if it's my tv or the cable could be messing me up...I have a newer model tv in my other room...but it would be too much hassle to switch.. I not bothered anymore... it works good with the optical cable...if I get free time ..I will order a next hdmi cable.. my tv is lg uh6030 and my surround sound is a sony bdv- e3100
Amazing sound settings. Thanks. I also have an issue with the central channel. The sound test works for every speaker however the central channel has no sound with 5.1 Netflix series of even Blu-ray discs 5.1. connected with ARC and trying every sound.mode. thanks
I cant get my head around that.... that is very strange try increasing the DB of the central speaker or make sure the distance settings are not too messed up if all fails do a master reset from the settings of the system hopefully that helps..
Does anyone know how to set up 5.1 surround sound on the ps5? The only way to get real surround sound is to set it to either Dolby or DTS but then the audio gets delayed for like half a second. I'm using ARC and Digital Audio Out is set to pass through. Surround sound works fine with TV apps like Netflix (android TV) is only the ps5 that's having this problem.
Can you suggest the right settings for this placement of speakers for watching movies and listening to music. Cuz the movies are in Dolby Atmos but the sound is low.
Please do try my settings, but you will never get the dolby sound effect with speakers placed like that. They are never meant to be placed like that. That is the reason they have given you 4 to have 2 in front and 2 in the back of the room.
Hi boss ... While playing from pendrive some big size movie file ..only video playing but audio codec not support in my bdv e3200 ... Means file having 5.1 sound 664 kbps sound It's also .mkv formats What to do....
@@HyperAMR I having 55 inch TV .I can play pendrive through TV also ...but I thought if I play directly from blue ray player then will get best sound effect ... that's y I try to play from player... I just want to know ...is this common prob ...or only I am facing thia
How do you get sound from Call of Duty to work on these sound systems, Everything I tried doesn’t work at all, Ran out of ideas I just want the speakers to work for my xbox use
AMR it’s connected with a hdmi cable to get the picture up on the dvd sound system and i tried using the optical to get audio through the speakers from the TV & xbox etc but it didn’t work
If you have this exact sound system then I recommend you use the hdmi arc function. But the question is, does your tv support hdmi arc? And also optical wires should be fine you should still recive sound by them. You must be doing somthing wrong. Somtimes you gotta change the sound settings from the ps4/xbox too in order for it to work.
The surround speakers work according to the test tone but then they don’t work while watching a movie but I also don’t have the origins remote and can’t change the mode like the thing with the button u pressed
Oh damn you definitely need the original remote to access some functions. Please keep in mind you need to be watching 5.1 sound surround movies for all speakers to work .
Nope this is the BDV-E2100, these settings should work on all new home cinema systems, how ever if you have a much newer and more powerful system the results may be too powerful.
Get one from ebay and try and calibrate it. Or if you have a sony TV try and enable HDMI link and use your Sony TV remote. There is not much you can do without a remote.
Hello, i have the same home cinéma... I tried to use optical but it does not work.. Is my home theatre's connector is faulty since when i put the cable it does not light up in red.
@@HyperAMR i choice no 1 on setting. sound mode on (this), dolby logic pro 2 . dolby cinema , 2ch . if i chose that no sound all speaker. on tv done to set hdmi arc turn on. but if i play netflix and disney with logo 5.1 . all speaker active. how to set all speaker on ?
I have the same system, center speaker is very weak..not much audible unless u push the volume to 30 at which point the rest of the stuff also gets too loud..any suggestions to fix this?
@@HyperAMR Thanks for replying, I made the change now it's better than before but still compared to the rest of the speakers the output in center in low even at 6db, it does sound loud when the test tone is on during setup, but when actual movie is playing not so much, Im playing movies on Amazon prime video..is there a way to check if the speaker is faulty..it does sound well when the test tone is on..any other way to check it's performance? Thanks again for ur suggestion
@@HyperAMR normal cable bro that green, white and red, yes i did demo today but still 3 speaker working, but im test all five respond 3.5 mm jack sterio amplifier pc connect
@@HyperAMR when i play in bluetooh with phone, all 5 working, only problem with pc connetion, when i connect with pc via bluetooth the song play in delay
Plus hdmi has a lot of benefits because optical only support dts trusurround and dolby digital wherever and the hdmi is a tru sound like dolby atmos and dts x on the proper surround sound systems 🙂 and supporting audio return channels aswell
I have a Sony BVD-E580 1,000watt 3D bluray 5.1 surround sound. It came with a calibration microphone... should I use that to calibrate the speakers or just do it manually? If I should use that I assume you would position the mic to where you'll be sitting and listening not in the center of the room right? My living room has an odd shape so I think it has an effect on how the speakers sound. Also-how can I make it to where you hear voices better? Most of everything on TV you can barely hear what they are sounding, but when an explosion or crash etc. happens then the speakers blast. It's fine if you can listen to it loud, but I have to lower volume to not have cops called by the neighbors lol. What setting could I adjust to make the highs and lows more even? Thanks in advance! :)
Hi, your sound system is a completely different model to the one I have. So our settings are different considering you are using the microphone attachment. The microphone to detect the best sound settings for your system is the way to go, then from there you can tweak the settings to your personal preference. I'm sorry I can't help you much as I don't have the same sound system as yours.
It is a different model number, but I'm pretty sure the backbones are very similar with a few added or taken away features and a new outer design. BTW I calibrated the speakers with the mic and it sounds much better!
Hi there! I have the same system but the back wireless speakers are not working at all ..the front speakers work perfectly any idea on how to fix this problem?
These are the only inputs it takes, - USB keyboard - Optical x 1 - Analogue PIN jacks x 1 How ever there must be another way around to connect a microphone to it such as a separate device connected to the tv that accepts the microphone then the sound will come out of its speakers. Hope this helps.
