Hey Mikey, I’m glad you like the McDonald’s in Singapore, though regarding that disappointing piece of bacon, I felt like I ought to contextualise that all major fast food chains in Singapore are Halal, so that was a piece of turkey bacon :) so basically it was destined to never become crispy
Mikey ^^ I think you were expecting the congee to be sweet because you thought it was red bean, but it's actually Red Rice Porridge ^^ I had 'em and for rice porridge it's actually really good and savoury. Great video as always and SG MCD is so good!
McDonald's and other fast food in Asia will always be on point with creative menu, seasonal items. While U.S. McDonald's can't even do "Global menu" right, nowhere near close. There's no hope for any improvement lol.
For me McDonalds has been crap food sence i was 12 and that was in 1990. Food always tasted like cardboard. I think i have walked into a McDee 2 times in all my life. Once for a vanilla Sunday and once more because we where traveling and y friend wanted a fast breakfast and it was their.
@@chobitstheoneforme McDonalds is for when I'm broke or when I'm on a road trip and there's no other option close by. I don't really enjoy it. But otherwise if I want a burger I'll go to Culver's or a local diner instead.
I swear to god I was literally just finished watching your last 6 videos. I've been away awhile. And boom another video. Thanks for great entertainment. Visit cape Breton sometime
@@strawbtangerine6087 We can speak 2 languages. Its either English & Chinese or English & Malay or English & Indian depending on your race. Im chinese so I speak English and chinese. Singapore is a bilingual country
Hi Mike, just a suggestion though, but you can try the following steps next time for a great spicy kick in your taste buds: 1. Order McSpicy Double, and get the curry sauce too. 2. Take one McSpicy chicken patty out of the burger and leave it in the box. 3. Eat the McSpicy burger (without that one patty that you took out earlier) 4. After finishing the burger, open the curry sauce. 5. Dip that one McSpicy chicken patty into the curry sauce and savour it. Enjoy!
I love the fact that he can sit in literally any restaurant around the world with a camera and film himself while eating. Also it's pretty crazy how different the McDonald's shops are. These burgers look way better than what we have in Austria. Greetings from Lotasticland
It's different. You guys used chicken breast, this uses chicken leg. I have to try it to compare them, but I am skeptical it is the same level of heat. Singapore's McSpicy is the best. They sell it in Indonesia as well, I like it, but there's still a subtle difference that made Singapore's better.
@@MikeyChenX mannn my elementary school in Indiana served them up too, it explains why I always had to keep my toes tucked in my blankets because I would be too scared of a monster pulling at my feet 😨
And yet, they'll just ignore him like every major corporation does. Sadly. Now if they actually paid more attention to how well those innovated ideas the Southeast Asia ones have, they'd do better here.
It would be so awesome if the US McDonald’s did do themed months with their food...European Appreciation Month, Asian Appreciation Month, etc, every year. That would be so cool.
how i eat my mcspicy everytime: orders double mcspicy took one patty out to eat like a side when im done with the burger. dip it in the chilli sauce ❤❤ and for the burger ill put in chilli sauce and 6 packets of the black pepper that they have at the condiments counter:)
I'm loving it each time you do a Mc Video in different parts of the world. Kind of makes me proud that you love the ones in Singapore. The porridge's supposed to be part of their healthier menu but the taste's really weird. Yes, Ya Kun's the best when it comes to kaya toasts, soft-boiled eggs, coffee and tea! It's so good to have you back in Singapore, Mike!
You need to try Zinger Stacker in KFC Singapore & should have gotten the black pepper packets and sprinkle them on the scrambled egg sausage burger For the Mcspicy customize it with no lettuce and extra sauce it's the bomb Regarding the pie's skin sometimes different flavour pie the skin is not crispy/crunchy or maybe the one you got has been sitting at the holder for too long and not freshly made
Total agreed with you that they should rotate different dessert once in a while. I wish I can taste the crunchy spicy chicken here. You’re very lucky man
My kids' favorite breakfast is similar... Buttered toast & "yolky" eggs with chai tea. My 7yo called it a "yummy bread mop" once & I feel that pretty much sums it up.
I love Kaya Toast at The Toast Chain, I usually bring me a couple of jars of jam back home. There's like 8 Jollibee in Singapore, 2 in Lucky Plaza on Orchard Road.
@@olgamolina1709 its sort of like a spread made with coconut milk, eggs and sweetened with sugar and a plant called pandan that gives it the tinge of green and an extra oomph of fragrance. There is another variety of kaya which is brown in color, which uses caramelized sugar instead of white sugar.
Amazing video Mikey I love your channels so much the fish burger looked so crispy and the spicy chicken sandwich looked delicious..❤️❤️It always great to see you have a fabulous week ..🤗💖..x
they have those hash rounds here in the US. they're called potato smiles. used to eat them all the time as a kid. they're different from regular tater tots in that they are basically deep fried rounds of Mashed Potato vs like chunks of potato formed into a round.
It looked amazing, do you have any idea how the eggs are cooked? Soft boiled eggs and buttered toast are only second to egg on rice but the all runny eggs made me drool.
Skeptic Fucker ya kun keeps its eggs under water that boils at a specific temperature. eggs boiled in water that doesn’t reach 100C won’t reach the point of hard boiled no matter how long they’re in the water. when the staff serve you eggs they just take the eggs directly out of the sub-boiling water. you can google for more
Wow Kaya Toast? Never heard of that before, I have seen the egg with the soy sauce though before in someone else's video. I bet that taste good. That breakfast sandwich from McDonalds looked great. White chocolate strawberry cream pie? OMG!!!
Shubham Kumar Yesss our McSpicy is so good! Actual chicken in the burger 😋 also we have garlic chilli sauce for fries and curry sauce (rly just sweet instead of spicy) for nuggets and the ice cream always changes. One time there was corn ice cream, then there was caramel popcorn flavor, matcha, and so much more!
I'm from singapore and for a long time I assumed all Mcdonalds, even in the US come up with new burgers and pies all the time. Over here we get a new menu every few months. Nasi lemak burger, prosperity burger, samurai burger, hershey Mcflurry, kimchi shaker fries, Banana pie, and so much more.
Not so sure about the quality in the US, but we do have lots of seasonal burgers and seasoned fries(shaker fries) that comes at specific times of the year (samurai burgers that comes around august every year and prosperity burgers during chinese new year) and they’re all super good
The spicy chicken in Singapore is our favorite too. We have tried McDonald from France, Italy, England and many others, Singapore is still the best with Taiwan right behind. Thanks for sharing!
It's really feel better when we eat out side. No headache of buying raw material + cooking + cleaning vessel. It's easy and comfortable for your body except your pocket.
Your voice audio has been super quiet and hard to hear lately. Thought I'd try to let you know so you can try to fix it. But besides that, keep the great videos coming!
