It's those young boys doin that. That's the reason I commented that probably 90 percent of these truck were bought with daddy's money. Either that or they live at home with momma and daddy and have no bills so every dime they make good into their truck. I got 4 kids and a ton of bills to pay so my K5 ain't even running right now.
@@87_v10 oh I will. To be honest I wish I had a building to keep her in because I need a whole new seal kit, every time it rains water is getting it and I already have floor pan rust but I'm trying to keep it from getting worse. Probably just gonna put a tarp back over under until I get $500 for the complete seal kit.

I say the same but only a Dodge !!! Hey,Mopar collector and restorer here and I own 3 Ford/Mercury products and now 6 GM products including a 1976 GMC my Uncle had on his ranch that I restored... Funny, some Chevy guys hate GMC trucks ,but they are the same truck just swap the grille and rear nameplate lol...They were the same exact truck until the 2002 model when GM finally had a different front fenders/grille surround for their Chev/GM trucks lol.. I also have another business that I own 1 Ford F 350..1 Chevy 2500 ,GMC 3500 and 2 Dodge RAM 2500 and 3500 all gas engines Ford 6.2,GM both 6.0 and Dodge 6.4 Hemi,I personally dont drive them my employee's do ..Ford is the least reliable..So far the GM/Dodge hold up the best 1 Dodge has 80,000 miles more than all of them and was the most reliable so far ,others have to catch up well the Ford already had major work done so that is dead last...I had a 2009 Tundra that lasted 4 years before the cam blew up with only 106,000 miles and was just a light duty local truck that 1 female employee drove lightly, total junk !! I bought it as my Uncle owns a Toyota dealer and, well I got a great deal on a brand new Tundra 5.7 V8 ,worst truck by far..its long gone now lol..
But these trucks were expensive when new, even used for a decent one..Todays trucks are capable but styling is more car like you could say..and the 2019 GM trucks are a plastic nightmare.. **People assume trucks back then were just cheap work trucks, not true..all the trim levels they had had more options and chrome and 2 tone paint were top dollar deluxe fancy trucks, like a Cadillac..Electric windows,seats,tilt,cruise,am/fm stereo ,thick carpet, wood trim were all high dollar options making them more than the average car, priced like a Camaro Z/28 and base Corvette of the day ! People dont know this they think all trucks were cheap because they dont understand the $6000 truck in 1973 was very expensive when you earned $1,00 per hour ! People never add inflation..
